摘要： A field emission device including: a first substrate on which at least one gate electrode line, at least one cathode line, and at least one electron emission source are formed; a second substrate on which an anode and a phosphor layer are formed; a side frame which is interposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and surrounds an area between the first substrate and the second substrate to form a sealed internal space, wherein the first substrate is offset from the second substrate by a predetermined length in a first direction perpendicular to a direction in which the first substrate and the second substrate are spaced apart from each other by the side frame; a rear terminal part through which a voltage is applied to the gate electrode line and the cathode line, and which is formed on a protruding region of the first substrate protruding by the predetermined length; and an anode terminal part through which a voltage is applied to the anode, wherein the anode terminal has a first end which contacts the anode, and a second end which is exposed to outside of the side frame.

摘要： An apparatus to enhance a contrast ratio in a projection system which includes a light emitting device portion to emit light, an illumination optical system to control a property of the light emitted from the light emitting device portion, a panel portion to project the light incident from the illumination optical system, an image driving portion to correct contrast with respect to an input image signal and to output the corrected image signal to the panel portion, and extracting a mean level value of an image signal to be displayed within a predetermined period to correct a signal transfer property, and a light emission control portion to control light emission time rate of the light emitting device portion by comparing the mean level value of an image signal extracted by the image driving portion with a preset reference value.

The light source module includes: a light-emitting chip installed on a base to generate and emit illuminating light and having reflectivity to reflect light incident on the light-emitting chip; a reflection mirror coupled with the base to reflect the light coming from the light-emitting chip toward a front direction; and a polarization alignment unit installed on an exit end of the reflection mirror to feed back a portion of light incident on the polarization alignment unit by reflection and to polarize the light coming from the light-emitting chip in one direction and output the polarized light, wherein the fed back light of the light incident on the polarization alignment unit is reflected back to the polarization alignment unit by at least one of the reflection mirror and the base.
