    • A drum washing machine and method of controlling the drum washing machine, which sufficiently dissolves a detergent by reciprocating water and the detergent contained in a lower portion of a water tub between the water tub and a detergent dissolution pipe, thus improving solubility of the detergent. Accordingly, a washing time may be decreased and laundry may be washed more cleanly. The drum washing machine and the method of controlling the drum washing machine of the present invention sufficiently dissolves the detergent in water and then efficiently sprays a detergent solution, in which the detergent dissolves in water, on an upper part of laundry, thus increasing utilization of the detergent. Therefore, a washing time is decreased and washing performance is improved.

    • An interference cancellation method include detecting macro terminals which experience interference between a first signal output from a macro base-station and a second signal delivered from a femto terminal that is greater than a reference value; determining the number of channels of the femto base-station by subtracting the number of the detected macro terminals from the number of antennas of the femto base-station; generating a transmission beamforming weight vector using channel information of a signal interfered by the first signal and the second signal and channel information of the first signal; and providing a service, using the transmission beamforming weight vector, to as many femto terminals as the number obtained by subtracting the number of the detected macro terminals, which experience the interference greater than the reference value, from the number of the antennas of the femto base-station.

    • A multimedia data transmission apparatus in a multimedia service providing system includes: a receiving unit configured to receive information of a terminal communicating with a plurality of access points from the access points; an access point selecting unit configured to select two or more access points to communicate with the terminal which is to receive multimedia data in different frequency bands, based on the terminal information; an allocating unit configured to allocate multimedia data in predetermine frequency bands to the two or more access points, respectively, from the multimedia data in different frequency bands such that the access points transmit the multimedia data in different frequency bands through cooperation therebetween; and a data transmitting unit configured to transmit the multimedia data in different frequency bands to the respective access points through transport layers corresponding to the multimedia data in different frequency bands.
