The cognitive radio communication apparatus includes an information receiver to receive channel state information associated with a channel occupancy state of a primary system from at least one sensing node of a secondary system; a sensing control unit to control a sensing period of the at least one sensing node according to a change pattern of the channel occupancy state, based on the channel state information; and a control information transmitter to transmit control information associated with the controlled sensing period to at least one member node of the secondary system.

摘要： An apparatus and method for allocating a channel using an auction algorithm in a wireless communication system. The method includes measuring a data rate of each channel; selecting one of the channels, when information on the channels is received from a base station, using the received information on the channels and the measured data rate; and determining a bidding price of the selected channel. Performance of the entire system can be improved by reducing complexity as well as guaranteeing an optimal value in the channel allocation.

摘要： A handover method in a plurality of wireless networks includes selecting one or more candidate networks from the plurality of wireless networks available to a mobile terminal of a user; calculating the latest connection time with a serving network currently serving the mobile terminal; deriving a history utility function based on the latest connection time; deriving system utility functions of the candidate networks in consideration of user and system environments; deriving selection functions for the candidate networks using the history utility function and the system utility functions; and selecting one of the candidate networks as a target network for handover using the selection functions. A target network for handover is selected using not only a system utility function reflecting user and system parameters but also a history utility function reflecting history information, thereby reducing the number of handovers and enhancing service quality.

摘要： A proportional fair scheduling apparatus for a multi-transmission channel system, a method thereof and a recording medium for recording program of the same. When each user reports an available transmission rate of a current slot according to transmission channels in the multiple transmission channel system, the scheduling apparatus calculates an average transmission rate of previous slots, and calculates scheduling priority values for all allocation schemes of allocating each transmission channel to users according to transmission channels based on information about the transmission rates. The scheduling apparatus determines an allocation scheme having the maximum priority value from among the calculated priority values, and allocates the transmission channels to the users according to the result of the determination. Therefore, the proportional fair scheduling scheme is applied to the multiple transmission channel system, and the users can transmit signals in an optimum channel environment.
