摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a papermaking method having excellent bulky effect, suppressing reduction of paper strengths to a minimum and maintaining bulkiness.
SOLUTION: A paper additive is provided. The paper additive is prepared by adding a treating agent comprising a neutralized or partly neutralized product of an oil soluble polymer having hydrophobic groups and cationic groups in a chemical structure and 1000-30,000 weight average molecular weight and forming fine aggregate particles. The problem to be solved can be attained by using the paper additive. By adding the paper additive to paper materials, the papermaking can be performed with not only enhancing bulkiness but suppressing the reduction of paper strengths to the minimum and improving whiteness of the paper.
