摘要： An image prediction method and device are disclosed. The method includes: obtaining a first reference unit of an image unit, where respective predicted images are obtained for the image unit and the first reference unit by using a same affine model; obtaining motion information of basic motion compensation units at two or more preset positions in the first reference unit; and obtaining motion information of a basic motion compensation unit of the image unit according to the motion information. In this way, motion information of the first reference unit using a same affine prediction model is reused, and a more accurate motion vector of a current image unit is obtained, improving prediction accuracy and maintaining encoding and decoding complexity, thereby improving encoding and decoding performance.

摘要： The present invention provides a reference image encoding method, including: encoding a to-be-encoded sequence, to obtain a reconstructed image of a first reference image and a reconstructed image of a second reference image; determining whether a local area in the second reference image is suitable for updating a corresponding area or a related area in the first reference image; determining whether the corresponding area or the related area in the first reference image is updated; when the corresponding area or the related area in the first reference image is not updated, and it is determined that the local area in the second reference image is suitable for updating the corresponding area or the related area in the first reference image, replacing a pixel value of the corresponding area or the related area in the first reference image with a pixel value of the local area in the second reference image; and compiling, into the bitstream, reference image update information used to determine whether the local area in the second reference image is used to update the corresponding area or the related area in the first reference image.

The embodiments of the present invention can improve accuracy of motion compensating prediction.

The method includes: detecting play time of each frame; and if the play time of a current frame is less than the maximum play time of received frames, determining the current frame as a bi-directional predicted frame, B-frame. In the technical solutions provided by the embodiments of the present invention, the frame types are determined according to a coding sequence of various frames and comparison between data amounts of various frames received earlier and later, without decoding a payload. Therefore the impact of a reduction factor is eliminated and the frame types can be detected more accurately.

摘要： Embodiments of this application disclose an interpolation filter training method and apparatus, a video picture encoding and decoding method, an encoder, and a decoder. According to the training method, a first sub-pixel picture obtained through interpolation by using a conventional interpolation filter is used as label data, to train a second interpolation filter, so that the second interpolation filter obtained through training can be directly used for a pixel value, obtained through interpolation, of a first fractional pixel position. Therefore, the label data is more accurate, and coding performance of a video picture is improved. According to the encoding method, during inter prediction, a target interpolation filter used for the current encoding picture block is determined from a set of candidate interpolation filters, and the encoder selects, according to content of the current encoding picture block, an appropriate interpolation filter to perform an interpolation operation. This can obtain a prediction block with higher prediction accuracy, reduce a quantity of bitstreams, and increase a compression rate of the video picture.
