摘要： The present invention discloses an SMB service fault processing method, including: generating, by a first storage device, a file handle according to a first file open instruction sent by a host, and sending the file handle to a second storage device; saving, by the second storage device, the file handle as a backup handle; activating, by the second storage device, an IP address of the first storage device according to fault information sent by the first storage device, and establishing a communication connection to the host; and determining, by the second storage device according to a handle identifier in a second file open instruction sent by the host, a file handle corresponding to the handle identifier, opening a file according to the file handle, and sending an operation result to the host. The present invention further provides a host and a storage array that can implement the foregoing method. In the present invention, when a storage device that processes an SMB service is faulty, the SMB service may be taken over by a secondary storage device, so that the SMB service is executed without interruption.

摘要： A data storage method and apparatus are provided. In the method, first information of to-be-stored data is first obtained. The first information includes at least one piece of information: a type of the to-be-stored data, a name of the to-be-stored data, and a user identifier corresponding to the to-be-stored data. Then, an expected storage location of the to-be-stored data is determined based on whether the first information of the to-be-stored data meets a condition. For example, when the obtained at least one piece of information of the to-be-stored data meets the condition, it is determined that the expected storage location is a first storage space whose read/write performance is higher than or equal to a threshold in a storage system. Finally, at least one data packet in a plurality of data packets of the to-be-stored data is stored in the expected storage location. Because the data packet of the data is stored in the location during data storage, the data does not need to be migrated subsequently. This can reduce an amount of data that needs to be migrated, and improve storage performance of the storage system.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention provide a data processing method performed by a host. The host and a storage system communicate with each other by using the NVMeoF protocol. The storage system includes a logical disk, and the host accesses the logical disk by using a control node in the storage system. The method includes: sending a state query command to the control node, where the state query command is used to instruct the control node to report a path state of a path corresponding to the control node; receiving the path state reported by the control node; when the received path state indicates that the logical disk includes an access interval, sending an interval query command to the control node; receiving access interval information reported by the control node, where an access interval indicated by the access interval information is pre-allocated to the control node; and recording a mapping relationship between the control node and the access interval information.
