The technical solutions provided in the embodiments of the present invention include: determining a service to be carried out with a target user equipment as a priority service; and creating a priority service bearer for the priority service, and carrying out the priority service by using the priority service bearer. The embodiments of the present invention are applicable in an IMS-based communication system.

摘要： A method for obtaining location area information during handover between heterogeneous networks includes: a mobility management entity of a destination network receives location area related information of a User Equipment (UE) from a mobility management entity of a source network; obtaining location area information required by the UE according to the location area related information; and sending the location area information and timer information required by the UE to the UE. An apparatus and a system for obtaining location area information during handover between heterogeneous networks are also disclosed. The destination network is able to obtain the location area information of a UE and the UE is able to know the required location area information so that handover between heterogeneous networks can be completed smoothly and that the destination network can normally maintain the UE.
