    • A method for cross-application interconnection between different devices and a related apparatus are provided. This method is applied to a communication system including a first terminal and a second terminal. The first terminal displays a first interface of a first instant messaging application on the first terminal, where the first interface includes a second user, the second user is a user registering with a second instant messaging application on the second terminal, and the first instant messaging application and the second instant messaging application are different applications. The first instant messaging application initiates first communication behavior to the second user in response to a first operation, for example, making a video call, making a voice call, or sending a message. The second terminal displays a second interface of the second instant messaging application, where the first communication behavior from a first user is displayed in the second interface, and the first user is a user registering with the first instant messaging application on the first terminal. In this way, interconnection can be achieved between different instant messaging applications on the two terminals, to provide convenience for communication.

    • A method for protecting privacy of a group member in a group and a terminal device are disclosed. A terminal device displays a group member list of a group in an instant messaging application, where the group member list includes a first group member and a second group member; the terminal device displays, in response to a first operation, a first phone number of the first group member, where the first phone number is a phone number of the first group member that is saved in an address book; the terminal device displays, in response to a second operation, a profile picture and/or a user name of the second group member, and a control used for adding a contact; the terminal device sends a first request to a cloud server in response to a third operation for the contact adding control, where the first request is used for requesting to add the second group member as a contact; the cloud server sends a second phone number of the second group member to the terminal device; and the terminal device saves the second group member as a contact. In this way, a phone number of a group member is prevented from being exposed to another group member in a group, and privacy (for example, the phone number) of the group member is protected.

    • Embodiments of the present invention provide a method and system for measuring quality of a service running on a terminal, and a device. The method for measuring quality of a service running on a terminal of the present invention includes: sending, by the terminal, a measurement request message to a network management device, wherein the measurement request message is used to request the network management device to measure the quality of the service; receiving, by the terminal, measurement configuration information sent by the network management device in response to the measurement request message, and coloring a packet of a service stream within a preset measurement period according to the measurement configuration information, to obtain a colored packet; sending, by the terminal, at least one of quantity information or time stamp information of the colored packet to the network management device, so that the network management device determines the quality of the service according to the at least one of the quantity information of the time stamp information of the colored packet. Quality of a service running on a terminal is comprehensively measured in the embodiments of the present invention.

    • A message order-preserving method, a readable medium, and an electronic device are provided. The method includes: A first electronic device generates a first message to be sent to a second electronic device, and starts to send the first message to the second electronic device. The first electronic device generates a second message to be sent to the second electronic device, and before sending the second message to the second electronic device, determines that sending of the first message is not completed. The first electronic device sends an integration message including the second message to the second electronic device. After receiving the integration message, the second electronic device displays the first message and the second message based on the integration message. Reference information of a message that is not sent completely and a to-be-sent message are sent together, and a sequence of displaying a message to a user on a receiving end is that a message that is sent first is displayed before a message that is sent later, so that the user perceives that a receiving sequence of the message is consistent with a sending sequence of the message, and this improves user experience.
