摘要： PURPOSE: To provide almost equal cutting ability in all cutting directions by forming an inner-diameter cutting edge by relieving the inner periphery of a cylindrical wall from a crossing line backward to the circumferential direction and further forming a plurality of outer-diameter cutting edges around the outer periphery of the cylindrical wall. CONSTITUTION: A cutting edge 36 extending in the radial direction of a plurality of cutting teeth cuts a circular groove in a workpiece 46. When a cutter is rotated and moved to an axial line corresponding to the axial line in the longitudinal direction thereof, the residual pieces 48 of a material stays in a cutter mainbody and an inner-diameter cutting edge 50 enters into the residual pieces 48 of the material. When the cutter is moved along an axial line not parallel to the axial line in the longitudinal direction thereof, an outer-diameter cutting edge 22 removes the material from the workpiece 46. In this way, the cutter 10 drills the workpiece 46 in the axial direction, cuts the workpiece 46 in the lateral direction and cuts the workpiece 46 at right angles.
