    • Provided is a refrigerator configured to improve the structure of an ice-making chamber provided to a refrigerator door, thereby efficiently supplying cool air into the ice-making chamber. The refrigerator includes a main body including a storage chamber, a refrigerator door rotatably coupled to the main body, an ice-making device provided to the refrigerator door and configured to make ice, an ice-making unit provided to the ice-making device and including a cool air introduction part, a freezing core vertically arranged in the ice-making unit and cooled by cool air, and an ice tray configured to receive at least one portion of the freezing core therein, wherein the cool air introduction part is provided on an upper side of the freezing core. Cool air is efficiently introduced into the ice-making chamber, thereby increasing the amount of ice made.

    • An ice maker and a refrigerator having the same include an ice making container which is maintained at a temperature higher than a freezing point of water. Ace core rods having the temperature lower than the freezing point are inserted into the ice making container to cause water in the container to freeze. Accordingly, water at the periphery of the ice making container remains liquid which the water surrounding the ice core rods freezes. As a result, air bubbles generated when the ice is made can be discharged from the liquid portions of the water at the outer edges of the container. This results in ice without trapped air bubbles, which allows excellent transparent ice pieces to be formed. In some embodiments, the exterior surfaces of the ice making container are maintained at a temperature lower than the freezing point of water, and thawing rods maintained at the temperature higher than the freezing point of water are inserted into the center portions of the ice making container. In this embodiment, water at the edges of the ice making container are frozen first, while the water surrounding the thawing rods remains liquid. This also allows air bubbles to escape during formation of the ice, which results in transparent ice pieces.

    • The present invention relates to a separating plate of solid oxide fuel cell stack. The separating plate of solid oxide fuel cell stack includes a substrate, upper and lower micro channel plates and upper and lower sealing guides. The substrate includes a fuel inflow/outflow manifold and an air inflow/outflow manifold disposed opposing to each other in a diagonal direction, a fuel channel having a pair of horizontal channels and an inclined channel connecting ends of the horizontal channels so as to connect the fuel inflow/outflow manifold, and an air channel having a pair of vertical channels and an inclined channel connecting ends of the vertical channels so as to connect the air inflow/outflow manifold. The upper and lower micro channel plates are attached to upper and lower parts of the substrate and includes a plurality of micro channels so as to distribute uniformly fuel flowing in the fuel channel and air flowing in the air channel. The upper and lower sealing guides keep a constant gap with the upper and lower micro channel plates and are attached to the upper and lower parts of the substrate.
