    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve workability in assembling a wave dissipation member composed of a cage-like container storing a perforated member onto a pipe.
      SOLUTION: The wave dissipation member 37 disposed inside the tank body of a fuel tank is composed of a cage-like container 38 formed of two members of a first and a second half bodies 38R, 38L and cylindrical perforated members 39, two each, supported inside the first and the second half bodies 38R, 38L. The first and the second half bodies 38R, 38L of the cage-like container 38 are coupled to sandwich a fuel suction pipe 36 between through-holes 38f thereof, thereby to support the wave dissipation member 37 on the fuel suction pipe 36. Therefore, it is possible to complete assembly of the wave dissipation member 37 onto the fuel suction pipe 36 without a need for troublesome work such as inserting the fuel suction pipe 36 into the perforated member 39 and the through-holes 38f of the cage-like container 38, thus significantly improving ease of assembly.

      SOLUTION: A pump module 25 is disposed in a first tank room 14 of a saddle-like tank body 11, the canister 31 is disposed in a second tank room 15, and engine exhaust pipes 13R, 13L are disposed to pass through a recess portion 11a on a lower surface of the tank body 11, therefore the heat of the exhaust gas passing through the exhaust pipes 13R, 13L is transmitted to the canister 31 with high efficiency to raise the temperature, thus improving purge performance of vaporized fuel charged to the canister 31. Since the first and the second tank rooms 14, 15 are connected through a siphon pipe 29, it is not necessary to install a sub pump for supplying fuel from the second tank room 15 to the first tank room 14 in the second tank room 15. As a result, the canister 31 can be disposed, using an installation space of the sub pump.
