    • A scanning device is capable of scanning both sides of a medium and includes a lens module, an optical-electric coupling unit, and a processor. The lens module faces the medium to be scanned. The optical-electric coupling unit is optically connected to the lens module. The processor is optically connected to the optical-electric coupling unit, and includes a light emitting unit and a light receiving unit. The light beams emitted from the light emitting unit are directed into the lens module through the optical-electric coupling unit, and illuminate the medium to be scanned. The light beams reflected by the medium enter into the optical-electric coupling unit through the optical-electric coupling unit, and then to the light receiving unit. The processor processes the reflected light beams into electrical signals to obtain scanning signals.

    • A light emitting device includes a light source and a light diverging unit including a first light diverging part and a second light diverging part including a bottom surface and a first light emitting surface connected by a side surface. The bottom surface defines a first receiving space for receiving the light source, the first light emitting surface defines a second receiving space communicating with the first receiving space, and the second receiving space comprises a first connecting surface. The second light diverging part is inserted into the second receiving space, and comprises a second light emitting surface and a second connecting surface. The second connecting surface fully contacts the first connecting surface, the second light emitting surface smoothly connects to the first light emitting surface. A refraction index of the first light diverging part is smaller than that of the second light diverging part.

    • A light guide plate includes a light incident surface, a side surface opposite to the light incident surface, and a light emitting surface connecting to the light incident surface and the side surface. The light emitting surface has a first portion adjacent to the light incident surface and a second portion adjacent to the side surface. The first portion defines a number of first micro recesses. The second portion defines a number of second micro recesses. In a plane perpendicular to the light emitting surface and the side surface, a cross section of each second micro recess is a portion of an ellipse. A major axis of the ellipse is inclined towards the light incident surface. A maximum depth of each second micro recess is greater than a maximum depth of each first micro recess.

    • An LED (light emitting diode) light source module includes a first optical lens, an LED light source received in a groove of the first optical lens and a second optical lens located at a light path of the LED light source and above the first optical lens. The first optical lens includes a first reflecting surface around the groove and a second reflecting surface. The second optical lens includes a reflecting surface facing the LED light source, and light which is incident to the reflecting surface of the second optical lens is reflected thereby to the first reflecting surface and the second reflecting surface of the first optical lens. A light diffusion plate is attached to the second optical lens at a position away from the reflecting surface of the second optical lens.
