    • A safety seat for land vehicles, aircraft or vessels, comprising a harness for suspension from fixed points of a vehicle and for supporting a vehicle occupant. Belt retractors are disposed at the fixed vehicle points, and fabric supporting belts extend from the harness to the retractors, which pretension the belts in a direction of retraction. A manually operable switching device allows the belt retractors to be switched into a free running state, a blocking state, or a positioning state. The free running state permits free withdrawal of the belts in a direction opposite to the pretension. The blocking state effects a complete blocking of the belts in both the withdrawal and the retraction directions. The positioning state effects blocking of the belts in only the withdrawal direction.

    • A land, air or sea vehicle having a transport compartment for accommodating cargo and/or seats and comprising at least one row of seats disposed next to one another in the longitudinal axis of the vehicle, and oriented transverse to the direction of movement of the vehicle, is provided in a central row of the transport compartment. Mesh frameworks of textile straps are suspended between roof and floor surfaces of the transport compartment and oppositely disposed side walls that extend in the direction of movement. Each seat is individually secured to one of the mesh frameworks which is secured, under tension, to the vehicle. Each mesh framework is comprised of two transverse straps and two vertical straps. The straps are spaced from one another by the width of the seat. The transverse straps are suspended between the side walls in the vicinity of the roof, and the vertical straps are suspended between the roof and floor. The transverse straps and the vertical straps are interconnected at their points of intersection.

    • A textile belt strap, especially for use in personnel safety devices in land vehicles, aircraft and watercraft. At least one seam is provided on the belt strap for representation of loading of the belt strap that occurs. The seam extends in a longitudinal direction of the belt strap over a portion thereof, and is comprised of an upper thread disposed on one side of the belt strap and a lower thread disposed on the other side of the belt strap. Respective transverse seams are fixedly connected with the belt strap for delimiting opposite ends of the seam. An interlocking of the upper thread and the louver thread is provided externally of the belt strap such that either the upper thread or the lower thread has a linear length or extension between the transverse seams that delimit the seam.

    • A safety seat for vehicles, including a seat portion having a tubular frame for a textile sitting surface. The seat portion is secured to a strap framework secured to a vehicle via two vertical support straps. A shoulder harness secures an occupant and has two strap portions in the vicinity of the occupant's back, each strap portion extending vertically between a releasable securement on a vehicle roof and a rear end of the seat portion. The two strap portions are deflected at the rear end and are then guided in a crossed manner beneath the sitting surface of the seat portion to securements disposed near the front edge of the seat portion. The shoulder harness has two shoulder straps held on the strap portions and extending to releasable securements near the front edge of the seat portion. The shoulder straps have a releasable cross connection for their interconnection over an applicant's chest.

    • An emergency transmitter provided with separate devices for the transmission of a first frequency and a second frequency. The transmitter is contained within a floatable housing. The transmission devices are connected via a switch to a battery. The transmission devices are comprised of a common quartz or crystal oscillator connected with frequency multipliers which are connected to drive stages and to high frequency final stages. The latter are connected to a transmission antenna which extends from the housing. Also provided is a signal generator for modulating the transmitted frequencies. A fixed-cycle control device is associated with the first and second transmission devices and alternately sets the two transmission devices into operation.
