摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving support system which reliably makes a crew recognize driving support information.SOLUTION: The driving support system includes: a positioning unit 33 for positioning a vehicle position of a railway vehicle; a storage unit 80 for storing map information including position information of a station and a track; a track position-acquiring unit for acquiring a position of the railway vehicle on the track by collating the map information with the positioned vehicle position; a display unit 11 for displaying the driving support information; a confirmation operation detection unit 20 for detecting confirmation operation which is to be performed by the crew when progressing to a destination on the track; and a display control unit for determining presence/absence of display of the driving support information, or for determining a display content, according to a present position of the railway vehicle on the track acquired by the track position-acquiring unit, and the presence/absence of confirmation operation detected by the confirmation operation detection unit.
