摘要： There is provided a motion recognition system using footwear for motion recognition. The motion recognition system includes footwear for motion recognition and an information processing terminal. The footwear for motion recognition includes a pressure sensor, a height sensor and a three-axis acceleration sensor, measures variations in foot pressure, height and acceleration according to a user's motion, preprocesses signals measured by the sensors, and transmits the preprocessed signals. The information processing terminal analyses the signals received from the footwear for motion recognition, obtains information regarding the user's center of gravity, position within three-dimensional space and feet movements, and provides application services based on the obtained information.

摘要： There is provided a method and apparatus for sensing a meal activity among the various activities of daily life using pressure sensors. A meal activity sensing apparatus collects sensor data detected through a plurality of pressure sensors installed in a smart meal mat, filters the collected sensor data, measures a pressure variance by using the filtered sensor data, determines whether a meal activity has taken place by comparing the measured pressure variance with a preset threshold value, and transmits meal activity information associated with the meal activity to an information processor communicating with the smart meal mat via radio frequency. Since this provides an advantage of more accurate detection of the meal activity, it can be useful in care services for eldercare facilities and for elderly individuals living alone, and further, in the efficient observance of an individual's daily meal patterns.

摘要： Embodiments of the present invention may provide an apparatus and a method for transmitting and receiving a random access channel (RACH) in a single carrier-frequency division multiple access (SC-FDMA) system. A frequency domain RACH signal may be mapped to a localized sub-frequency band of an entire frequency band available to the SC-FDMA system. A guard band including at least one sub carrier may be allocated between the RACH signal band and other channel signal bands. A guard time may be allocated between the RACE signal and other channel signals in the time domain. The RACH signal may include a short message including information related to a mobile station. The RACH signal may be detected in a frequency based method, a time based method or a sliding matched filter based method. Receiver complexity can be decreased if the RACH signal includes a CAZAC code sequence for a preamble. In such a case, a receive delay may be simply calculated and then adjusted more accurately.
