摘要： PURPOSE:In a work to bore three holes on the surfaces of cylinder shaped edge parts with an equal angular position, to ease the indexing operation of the hole positions by using a variable dividing head with a Y-shaped link mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A turn table 2 is rotatably mounted on a fixed base 1 through a center spindle 4. One of the divided position is fixed at the place where a fixed pin hole 8 is fixed in a base 1, while other two positions are designated at the place where pin holes 10, 10', having same radial distance from each center of pin hole arms 9, 9' rotatable around a center block 3, are formed. Arms 11, 11' with same length are pivotably engaged at the point equally distanced from the center of each pin hole arm 9, 9' and also are pivotably engaged with the tip end of a rod 12. Boring positions are devided by moving a rod guide 13 on the rod 12, while the turn table 12 is fixed by a positioning pin 5.
