    • PURPOSE:To measure rotating accuracy of a rotating shaft with high accuracy by supplying a liquid to a cylindrical part of a measuring shaft fitted to the rotating shaft and detecting the inside peripheral surface of a cylinder formed by the liquid with rotation of the rotating shaft by a detecting means of noncontact system. CONSTITUTION:The measuring shaft 5 is fixed on one end of a main shaft 2 supported rotatably with a main shaft head 1 and its one end is formed cylindrically and the liquid 7 is supplied into the cylindrical part 6 and a noncontact system detector 10 supported by a stand 9 is entered the cylindrical part 6. Then, the cylinder is formed by the liquid 7 by rotation of the shaft 5 by rotation of the shaft 2 and the detector 10 is faced the inside peripheral surface 8 of the cylinder and clearance G between the detector 10 and the inside peripheral surface 8 is measured to detect rotating accuracy of the shaft 2.
