    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid oscillating combustion produced by the matching of the slight vibration of the flame of a surface combustion burner with the natural columnar frequency in a high temperature regenerator of an absorption cool and hot water machine.
      SOLUTION: This high temperature regenerator of the absorption cool and hot water machine comprises an inner tube 102 forming a combustion chamber 111, an outer tube 101 forming a liquid chamber 112 for holding solution 110 in the clearance thereof from the inner tube 102, a solution tube 103 communicating with the liquid chamber 112 and disposed in the combustion chamber 111, the surface combustion burner 104 connected to one side face of the combustion chamber 111, and an exhaust passage 108 connected to the other side face of the combustion chamber 111. An exhaust passage restrictor 120 opposed to the combustion surface of the surface combustion burner 104 and having an opening part 120a is disposed between the combustion chamber 111 and the exhaust passage 108, and a tube part 121 extending from the opening part 120a to a downstream side is installed in the exhaust passage 108.

A plurality of solution tubes 103 are disposed along the radiation direction of the combustion gas, the disposed solution tubes 103 are divided into a plurality of solution tube groups in the flow direction of the combustion gas, and the solution tube group in the most upstream side of the combustion gas and the solution group positioned next thereto in a downstream side are disposed at an interval not less than approximately 7×h a (wherein, h a is an interval in the orthogonal direction to the flow direction of the combustion gas of the solution tube in the solution tube group in the most upstream side) but not more than 100 mm in the flow direction of the combustion gas.     • PURPOSE:To prevent more useful information well and to compress less useful information well by performing non-reciprocal data compression after performing data conversion to emphasize a specific area where more useful information locally exists. CONSTITUTION:It is supposed that a useful signal A is included in an area L of low density of an original picture 11 and a useless signal B is included in an area H of high density. Data conversion to emphasize the density area L including the useful signal A and to suppress the density area H including the useless signal B is performed to generated a converted picture 12, and this picture 12 subjected to non-reciprocal data compression processing. When it is supposed that signals having an amplitude (v) or shorter are lost at this time, the useless signal B is lost but the useful signal A is completely preserved in a picture 13 subjected to non-reciprocal compression. Finally, data reverse conversion opposite to data conversion is performed to obtain a restored picture 14. Thus, the useful signal A is preserved well and the useless signal B is compressed well.

Three(11A-13A) bias light driving power supplies having different voltage are provided to form selectively the residual image among short, medium and long images by means of button switches 11-13. Since the change in the bias light emitting source 10 causes the change in a dark current and changes the pedestal level, power supplies 11B-13B are provided for the correction, they are selected in interlocking with the selection of the bias light driving power supply by means of the button switches 11-13 to change the pedestal level of a pedestal clamp circuit 7A in a TV camera control unit 7.

    • PURPOSE:To sufficiently save information whose degree of usefulness is high, to sufficiently compress information whose degree of usefulness is low, and to decrease of an omission of the information whose degree of usefulness is high by changing a parameter used for compressing irreversible image data at every partial image. CONSTITUTION:A parameter for exerting an influence on the fidelity such as an allowable distortion is determined as a function of an image data value for representing its partial image as an average value of image data of the corresponding partial image 12 at every partial image. Subsequently, the image data value for representing the image data in the partial image 12 contained in a part 13 in which internal organs are overlapped is set to a value corresponding to low concentration or middle concentration, and an image data value for representing the partial image 12 contained in direct X rays and a part 14 of its fog is set to a value corresponding to high concentration. In such a way, an omission of important information decreases, and useless information is deleted, therefore, the image data compression conforming to a degree of importance of information can be executed.
