    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce traffic while transmitting meter-reading data reliably in a feed supervisory control system capable of performing meter-reading remotely.
      SOLUTION: In a feed supervisory control system, a number of unit wattmeters T, namely terminal stations, are arranged in a tree structure in a server device 1 for managing a network, and each unit wattmeter T performs fixed-time reporting toward the server device 1. In this case, daily serial number management is performed to data reported at a fixed time from each unit wattmeter T at the side of the server device 1. When the number is skipped, it is determined that data have not arrived, thus requesting the retransmission of the data. Also, event data to be transmitted as required are retransmitted simultaneously with the next fixed-time reporting data, thus allowing the server device 1 to eliminate the need for returning ACK to the fixed-time report data and the event data each time, and reducing traffic while transmitting data reliably even in a situation that a number of terminal stations are installed for a communication line of a PHS with a low rate.
