摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the flickering half-tone on a display screen by providing an arithmetic device calculating the digital display data before being converted into frame control rate (FRC) display data.
SOLUTION: Display data are inputted to a liquid crystal display device 501 as digital display data 502 together with the dot clock 503, horizontal synchronization signal 504 and vertical synchronization signal 505 directly when the display data are digital data or after being converted into digital data by an A/D converting circuit when the display data are analog data. The RGB of the inputted digital display data 502 are independently inputted to an arithmetic value determining circuit 506 and an arithmetic circuit 508 respectively. The arithmetic circuit 508 makes arithmetic actions between the digital display data 502 and arithmetic values 507 generated for individual colors. An FRC converting circuit 510 converts digital display data 509 into FRC display data 511.
