    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of reducing a car unbalanced load due to a tail cord without adding a specific device.
      SOLUTION: The elevator device is provided with: a hoistway 1; a pair of guide rails 5 provided inside the hoistway 1; a car 7 hung by a main rope 6 and lifted/lowered along the guide rails 5; a car bottom frame 13 provided in the lower part of the car 7; and the tail cord 10 having one end connected to a hanging member 15 mounted to the car bottom frame 13 and the other end connected to an intermediate part of the hoistway 1. The end part on the car side of the tail cord 10 is hung in the vicinity of a hanging core in the forward/backward direction of the car 7 and is hung slantly so that a straight line connecting the hoistway side end part and the car side end part of the tail cord 10 has an angle with a straight line connecting the pair of guide rails 5 for the car 7.
