    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit data to a controller in consideration of importance of data as well as relation between data.
      SOLUTION: A terminal device includes: a data storage part 13 for storing a plurality of input data including importance information and information about relation with other data; and a receiving part 10 for receiving an inquiry signal transmitted from the controller 2. When the inquiry signal is received, it is determined whether or not the amount of data stored in the data storage part 13 exceeds a preset threshold. When it is determined that it exceeds the threshold value, the stored data are concatenated on the basis of the information on the relation with the other data. Moreover, the concatenated data or unconcatenated data are stored in a transmission data storage part 19 as transmission data. The transmission data stored in the transmission data storage part 19 are successively read and transmitted in order on the basis of importance information included in the transmission data.

    • PURPOSE:To improve reliability of a composite computer system with use of a memory of each computer and with no use of a shared memory, by providing a multiplexer in place of the shared memory and performing communication of data among computers via multiplexers. CONSTITUTION:Each computer secures communication with a main memory 16 via a communication adaptor 11 and a data exchange device (multiplexer) I. In other words, a memory needed for a computer II if existing among those memories of a computer I is transferred via the device I in the packet communication using a time slot of a transmission frame. Then the multi-address communication is carried out in case a computer III needs the same data. In a system where many computers are connected, a function code communication method is applied to send data to a desired computer only. As a result, the memory 16 of each computer has the same function as a shared memory to omit a data copying function to a back-up system that is needed for the shared memory together with a simple switching action of computers.
