    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a metal-sheathed superconducting wire and a superconducting coil with very low deterioration in natural performance originally possessed by the superconducting wire by solving the problem of superconductivity characteristics deteriorating owing to insufficient mechanical strength. SOLUTION: The mechanical strength of a metal-sheathed superconducting wire after a heat treatment process is enhanced, as compared with that before the heat treatment process by winding a heat resistant metal on the surface of the metal-sheathed superconducting wire covered with a metal. Hereby, the characteristics of the superconducting wire and a superconducting coil, which characteristics are deteriorated by electromagnetic force and the like because of insufficient mechanical strength, are improved sharply.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a superconducting wire and its manufacturing method, and a superconducting magnet using it, which are made it possible to have practical critical current density, concerning the superconducting wire which is filled up or included with the superconductor containing boron. SOLUTION: Concerning the superconducting wire, which is filled up or included with the superconductor containing boron, on the perimeter of this superconductor, a metal covering material of an alloy, which consists of independent metal chosen from gold, silver, aluminum, copper, iron, platinum, palladium, nickel, stainless steel, chromium, magnesium, tantalum, niobium, titanium, tin, beryllium, tungsten, and cobalt, or those plurality, is arranged. The density of this superconductor after the last processing is 80% or more of theoretical density, and the critical temperature of this superconducting wire is 30 K or more.
