    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cargo information transport managing method and its device using electronic tags for realizing cargo transport with high efficiency, high accuracy and high quality. SOLUTION: A cargo pickup request input by a consignor source system 210 is recorded on the electronic tag to be pasted to a cargo and sent to a cargo pickup managing system 225, and the cargo pickup request is accepted. When the cargo is picked up, cargo pickup information is recorded on the electronic tag by a terminal 215 and sent to the cargo pickup managing system 225. An in-base cargo information managing system 230 notifies a total cargo information managing system 245 of the cargo pickup information and information about the cargo passing through a base. The total cargo information managing system acquires the transport history of the cargo in accordance with the information sent from the in-base cargo information managing system 230, calculates a delivery schedule for the cargo and notifies each in-base cargo information managing system 230 thereof.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise tag which can record detailed information of the merchandise itself and handling information of the product and in which the content is possible to be rewritten or written even after its production and the recorded content scarcely becomes hard to read even after repeated handling of the merchandise and by which an apparatus for handling and utilizing the merchandise is automatically set in the optimum conditions based on the content and to provide an apparatus for handling such a tag. SOLUTION: A non-contact type IC chip are printed on or attached to or stuck to laundry tags 10 sewed on clothing items. Information such as the merchandise attributes, ironing method, laundering instruction, etc., is recorded in the information memory parts 14 in the IC chip. At the time when the clothing items are handled, this apparatus for utilizing such tags receives the information from the IC chip through an antenna 15 and the apparatus for utilizing the tag (for example, an iron) itself automatically sets the proper conditions according to the information.
