    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a valve for a steam turbine capable of maintaining a condition that an oxidation resistance is improved by preventing a diffusion of aluminum and deterioration of aluminide intermetallics.
      SOLUTION: The valve includes a valve rod, a valve disc formed on the valve rod, a bush formed around the valve rod, a sleeve formed around the valve disc, and a valve seat to be opened and closed by a movement of the valve disc. The valve is characterized by arranging a metal material having an fcc structure between an aluminum coating and a base material having a bcc structure on the valve rod and/or the bush, and the valve disc and/or a sliding portion of the sleeve, and by forming the aluminide intermetallics between the aluminum and the metal material having the fcc structure.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine casing which is excellent in resistance to oxidization even at 560°C or higher and needs no work thereto in a depressurized atmosphere and further provide a steam turbine which is equipped with the casing and is operable at 560°C or higher.SOLUTION: An oxidation-resistant coating layer is included which comprises one or two layers containing Cr of 50% or more on a surface layer of the steam turbine casing. The coating layer is 100 μm or less in thickness in total. The coating layer has 0.05 to 0.9% porosity. The coating layer contains aluminum Al other than chrome Cr. The coating layer contains nickel Ni other than chrome Cr. A casing basal member contains iron Fe as a primary component and further contains at least chrome Cr, molybdenum Mo and vanadium V.
