    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quantitatively determine a sample in an ultratrace amount by using a spectrophotometer with good reproducibility and with ultrahigh accuracy without being influenced by a remaining liquid, by a method wherein the internal volume of a sample container which holds a sample to be measured is set in a specific range. SOLUTION: A transparent quartz translucent plate 2 on which a black mask 1 is pasted, a black quartz cell block 3, a transparent quartz translucent plate 4 and a handle 6 which comprises a through hole 5 and which uses opaque quartz constitute a sample container. The black mask 1 may be formed on the translucent plate 4. The respective components 1 to 6 are fused and bonded in such a way that an optical axis is situated in the center, and they form an ultratrace-amount sample container single-view drawing 8 indicated as a single-view drawing, A slanted line part 10 which is indicated in the enlarged figure 9 of the cell block 3 is a part which is filled with a sample, i.e., a part which decides the volume of the sample. The length of a liquid layer in the enlarged figure 9 is designated as A, the width of the liquid layer is designated as B, and the height of the liquid layer is designated as C.     • PURPOSE:To provide a smaller size and longer life light source, by using a strobo lamp as a light source to make the timing of lighting the strobe lamp synchronize with a sample measuring operation. On the other hand, the strobe lamp 3 is lighted by a power source 2. Further, the temperature detected by the temperature sensing element 32 is compared with reference temperature by a comparator in the temperature controller and electric power supplied to the electron thermal element 31 according to the comparison output to perform temperature control to the constant temperature.

The disk 5 is turned. Each magnet 14 is turned by the mutual action of the magnetic lines of forces of the magnet 6 and the magnet 14. Thus the sample is agitated. Therefore, the reacting samples among the samples are not sedimented during the simultaneous measurement of many samples. Thus the measuring accuracy can be improved.

    • PURPOSE:To make it possible to perform highly stabilized temperature control, by utilizing functional relationship of the temperature and the resistance value of a temperature sensitive element, and making it possible to perform control and detection by one element. CONSTITUTION:When the value of an arbitrary temperature is set by an input part 5, the resistance value corresponding to the temperature value is computed by a function operator 6. Said resistance value and the actual resistance value of a thermistor 4 are inputted to a differential operator 7. A current is supplied to a Peltier element 3 through a control circuit 8 so that the difference between said resistance values becomes zero. The actual resistance value of the thermistor 4 is obtained by a constant current circuit 9 and an A/D converter 10, which converts the voltage output of the circuit 9 into a digital quantity. A feedback loop of l4 9 10 7 8 4 is operated until the balance to the preset temperature is obtained. The resistance value of the thermistor 4 ( the output of the A/D converter 10) is directly converted into the temperature by a function operator 11. Thus the highly stabilized temperature control can be performed.
