    • PURPOSE:To suppress the generation of noise by detecting the signal corresponding to a noise part in a still picture screen with use of a horizontal synchronizing signal contained in a composite synchronizing signal and using a pulse to drive a tape driving motor. CONSTITUTION:In a still reproduction mode a switch 11 is connected to the (b) side, and a capstan motor 8 is driven with control by a still control means 12. A horizontal synchronizing signal A separated by a signal processing circuit 7 is impressed to a noise detecting means 13 and converted into a signal B with which the missing of horizontal synchronism, noise, etc. are detected. If a signal C lacks the horizontal synchronism, a noise part is decided by the second shot signal of the noise detection signal B. Then the signal C is delivered from a waveform shaping circuit 14. A drive pulse generating circuit 15 is triggered at the rise edge of the signal C, and a signal D is delivered. The signal D is supplied to a driving circuit 9, and a capstan motor 15 is pulse driven at a low speed.

    • PURPOSE:To attain low distortion and low voltage of a circuit, by providing a means suppressing a harmonic component of a recording signal not required for a magnetic recorder/reproducuer for operating a recording amplifier at a required minimum amplitude. CONSTITUTION:An output level of a video signal from an input terminal 1 is made constant at an AGC2, a luminance signal component of the output is applied to an FM modulator 5 via an LPF3 and a pre-emphasis circuit 4 and converted into an FM signal. The high frequency component is extracted from the converted FM signal at an HPF6, and the high frequency component is eliminated at the LPF and applied to a mixer 7. The color signal component is extracted from the other output of the AGC2 at the HPF or a BPF12, converted into a low frequency at a frequency conversion circuit 13, only the required component is extracted at an LPF14 and mixed with the FM signal at the mixer 7. The output of the mixer 7 is recorded on a magnetic tape 11 via a recording amplifier 8, a rotary transformer 9, and a magnetic head 10.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain the integrated circuit in which a signal output pin and a control signal pin are combinedly used by a method wherein the substrate signal current of PNP lateral transistors is removed using an NPN diode. CONSTITUTION:The base of the transistors Q4 and Q5 and a collector are connected and used as the NPN diode. The signal current flowing to the substrate is prevented by designing for sufficiently reduced collector saturation resistance of the NPN transistor. A controlling terminal 4 is connected to an IC pin 2 through the intermediary of an output terminal 3 and a diode D1, and the number of pins used is reduced by combinedly using the output pin and the pin for the control signal input. When the pin is used as an output terminal, the Q1 located inside the IC is operated by having the terminal 4 in sufficiently low voltage and when it is used as a control input terminal, a high voltage is applied to the terminal 4, the current on the Q1 is cut and detection is performed by a Q3. According to this constitution, the erroneous operation due to the leak current of the lateral transistors is prevented, thereby enabling to design the IC circuit easily.

    • PURPOSE:To integrate a filter or equalizer by using an integrated transistor (TR) as a variable resistance element and constituting the filter or equalizer circuit of the element, and adjusting the value of said element by an external IC signal. CONSTITUTION:A constant current source 39 consists of a TR18 and a resistance 27 and its current value I1 varies with the voltage V36 at a terminal 36. Therefore, the impedance values re15 and re21 of a TR15 and a diode 21 are so determined that re15=re21=kT/qI1; and re15 and re21 are variable by a variable resistance 33 outside of the IC. Then, TRs 16, 17 and diodes 22, 23 are provided in the same way and an equivalent circuit shown in a figure is obtained. The relative value precision of integrated elements in the same chip is extremely high, so even when the integrated elements have variance, variance in time constant among LPFs of respective stages is nearly at the same ratio. For this purpose, the values I1, I2, and I3 of constant current sources 39, 40, and 41 are varied by a voltage 36 to adjust variable resistances 42-47 in the IC, and each variance is absorbed to obtain desired LPF characteristics.
