    • PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a crack at the corner of a rotor and sharply improve the coupling force between the rotor barrel and axle sections and the coupling force between the rotor and a rotary shaft by arranging a cap- type stainless block provided with a thin iron plate on the external surface at the joint between the rotor barrel section and the rotary shaft. CONSTITUTION:A stainless block 9 whose external surface is covered with a thin iron cap 8 is cast and arranged on the inner wall surface at the rotor axle section 36 side of a cylindrical rotor barrel 3a made of Cu material, namely on the base of the rotor axle section 3b made of Mo material. In addition, a rotor 3 is tightened and fixed to a rotary shaft 4 by a screw 5 with intense coupling force through the stainless block 9 covered with the iron cap 8.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the thread-mount strength between a rotor and a rotary axis by using a metallic member having a high hardness and a low thermal conductivity for a joining part provided between the rotor and the rotary axis. CONSTITUTION:A rotor bottom 3c, which joins a rotor axis 3b and a cylindrical body 3a, is made of a member which has a high hardness and a low thermal conductivity, such as iron or molybdenum. Here, since the rotor axis 3b is made of molybdenum and the rotor body 3a is made of copper, the rotor bottom 3c prepared from iron or molybdenum is fixed to the rotor axis 3b and the rotor body 3a by soldering. By thus constituting the rotor bottom 3c, which becomes a joining part between the body 3a and the axis 3b, from iron or molybdenum, the bottom 3c and a rotary axis 4 are clamped with increased strength by means of a screw 5, and the screw 5 is securely prevented from loosening between the bottom 3c and the rotary axis 4.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the vacuum degree of an X-ray tube by preventing any temperature rise of the rotary-anode axis receiving part of the X-ray tube. CONSTITUTION:Since a heat-shielding plate 10 is fixed to a bottom part 2c of an axial part 2a of a rotor 2, and the axial part 2a has a hollow center 2b, any temperature increase of a revolving shaft 6 which might the caused by radiation heat transferred from the axial part 2a is prevented with the heat- shielding plate 10, and the radiation heat of the axial part 2a is discharged through the hollow center 2b toward a target 1. When the plate 10 is prepared from a getter member such as Ta or Zr, the plate 10 exerts getter effect when heated to 500-700 deg.C. As the result, the gas generated within the revolving shaft 6 and inside the rotor 2 is absorbed by the getter 10 after passing through a hole 11 provided in the neck part of the revolving shaft 6, and the vacuum degree of an X-ray tube is increased.

    • PURPOSE:To make the emission of heat, which is generated in a magnet, to the external good to make a magnetic flux density distribution unifrom by providing a good thermal conductor between ends of the magnet and a cylindrical anode in a magnetron which incorporates the magnet in a vacuum package. CONSTITUTION:The main part of a vacuum package is constituted by cylindrical anode 1, upper plate 2, sealing plate 3 and lower plate. Next, the inside of this package is provided with plural veins which extend from the inside wall of anode 1 in the center axis direction, cathodes 6 arranged in concentric circles, a pair of permanent mangets 8 and 8a which supply the line of magnetic force to active space 7 generated by the tip of vein 5 and cathode 6, antenna 9, etc. In this constitution, non-magnetic-material and good-thermal conduction degree heat propagation plates 14 and 14a such as copper or aluminum are wound around the outside circumference of magnets 8 and 8a where temperature rise is highest, and ends of them are connected to the end of anode 1 along upper plate 2 and lower plate 4. Thus, the heat generated in magnets 8 and 8a is emitted from radiator fin 13 effectively, and heat-reduced magnetic action becomes small.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a lightweight target for a rotary anode x-ray tube with good efficiency that is more suitable to large capacity and high speed rotation by providing a number of obliquely radial slits on an x-ray irradiation surface provided with a thin film such as tungusten in the depth that is equal or equivalent to the thickness of the thin film and in the width that does not exceed the x-ray irradiation focal point dimensions. CONSTITUTION:An x-ray irradiation film 1 made of tungusten or its alloys is rigidly applied and formed on the x-ray irradiation surface of the upper periphery of a substrate 3 made of nonmetallic single material. While an x-ray tube is operating, this target is rotated by a rotary operation shaft connected through a rotor connecting hole 2 under vacuum atmospheres and simultaneously the x-ray irradiation film 1 receives the irradiation of a high energy electron beam from the vertically upper part and then is heated. The x-ray irradiation film 1 is formed on the substrate 3 in a donut form except an upper end face 4 and divided into a number of parts by a slit 5. The slit 5 is formed in an obliquely radial form at a fixed angle of inclination for the x-ray irradiation direction 6.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent generation of an interpositional slip at the fixing part of a target and a prop of an X-ray tube rotary anode. CONSTITUTION:In a junction part 9, platinum plating is performed on a target seat surface of a prop 4 and on an axial surface making contact with the inside of the target hole, in order to let the platinum diffuse into molybudenum of the target and the prop. In this case, when the target temperature exceeds 1,000 deg.C, a crack is generated in a crystaline interface of molybudenum of the target owing to platinum diffusion. However, when the emissivity of the target surface is rendered more than 0.6 by means of blackening treatment, and the like, the target temperature is suppressed to about 800 deg.C while the temperature at the platinum diffusion junction part between the target and the prop is also suppressed to 600-650 deg.C, thus generating no intergranular crack of molybudenum owing to platinum diffusion.
