    • PURPOSE:To obtain a signal processing circuit capable of compensating a dropout deteriorating a signal by using a video dropout compensating circuit in addition to a dropout compensating circuit which performs dropout compensation only by an FM signal. CONSTITUTION:A video signal recorded after FM modulation is passed through a magnetic head 1 and an amplifier 2 to obtain a reproduced FM signal, which is converted by a frequency converting circuit 3 into a high-frequency converted FM signal. At this time, a dropout in the signal reproduced from a tape is detected by a dropout detecting and electronic switch control circuit 6. An electric switch 7 is changed over from a terminal 7-1 to a terminal 7-2 by the detection signal and a dropout-free signal which is delayed by 1H (one horizontal scanning period) through a 1H delay line 9 is applied to a terminal 7-3. A demodulator 8 and the 1H delay line have characteristic time lag, so the electronic switch 11 is controlled with proper time lag after the dropout is detected.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain highly efficient and unexpensive reproduction equalizing circuit and inversion preventing circuit by arranging a variable gain amplifier in an automatic gain controlling circuit in front of the 1st and the 2nd filters. CONSTITUTION:A signal from an output electrode 39 having low-pass peaking characteristics of a surface acoustic wave filter SAW 36 has less carrier components of an FM luminance signal and many lower band components. On the contrary, a signal from an output electrode 38 having high-pass peaking characteristics has many carrier components of the FM luminance signal. Therefore, a signal level is detected by the output electrode 38 in order to actuate the automatic gain controlling circuit AGC 33 effectively. The signal level is detected by an amplifier 33-3 and a detector 33-2 and the amplifier 33-3 is used to compensate a signal attenuated by the SAW filter 36. A generally used detector is used for the detector 33-2 to apply DC voltage corresponding to the detected signal level to the variable gain amplifier 33-1 and control the signal level.

    • PURPOSE:To attain multi-function and high performance of a VTR by providing a comparatively inexpensive frame memory comprising a turning body turned at a constant speed in the frame period of a developing signal, a magnetic recording disc and a fixed head. CONSTITUTION:A rotary cylinder 1 is driven at a constant speed in a period the same as the frame period of a video signal by a motor 2 subjected to drive control. Thus, the magnetic recording disc 3 loaded to the rotary cylinder 1 is driven at a constant speed in a period the same as the frame period of the video signal. A recording signal for one frame's share is recorded on a recording track 8 for one circumference's share on the magnetic recording disc 3 turned in the frame period by applying a recording signal current for one frame's share to the fixed head 5 from a recording and reproducing circuit 7 at the recording of the VTR. The recorded signal is extracted continuously in the frame period from the fixed head 5 at the reproduction of the VTR and the video signal for one frame's share is reproduced continuously by processing the recorded signal at the recording and reproducing circuit 7.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a jitter correcting means leading to low cost and high performance by using an oscillated frequency of a VCO so as to modulate a high frequency portion of a reproduced luminance signal and providing nearly same jitter component as that of the reproduced luminance signal to the oscillated frequency of the VCO. CONSTITUTION:An FM luminance signal reproduced from a head 3 is amplified by a preamplifier 4 and the frequency is corrected by a peaking circuit 5. After the high frequency of an output of the peaking circuit 5 is converted at a high frequency converting circuit 11, one frequency is extracted by a BPF12 and demodulated by a demodulation circuit 6. On the other hand, a horizontal synchronizing signal (h) separated from the luminance signal by a synchronizing separator circuit 9 is compared for the phase with a reference signal hr at a phase comparator 15 and its output (v) is fed to the VCO17 via an LPF16. As a result, an output of the VCO17 has nearly the same jitter component as the reproduced luminance signal and the reproduced luminance signal is subject to high frequency conversion by a high frequency converting circuit 11 based on the signal, then the luminance signal suppressed with jitter component is obtained.
