摘要： A magnetic head fabricated through the thin film technique and used with a magnetic drum or disk of an electronic computer. The magnetic head comprises a first magnetic material forming a part of a magnetic flux path; a second magnetic material forming another part of the magnetic flux path; at least two conductors superposed between the first and second magnetic materials, with insulating films inserted between the magnetic materials and the conductors and between the conductors; two lead conductors, one being connected with one end of the lowermost conductor and the other being connected with that end of the uppermost conductor which is opposite to the one end of the lowermost conductor; and coil forming conductors connected with the remaining ends of the conductors disposed between the first and second magnetic materials, wherein the coil forming conductors are insulated from each other but have the end portions where they are electrically connected in a predetermined manner, and wherein the coil forming conductors are substantially superposed on each other to form parts of turns of a coil.

摘要： A precise pattern figure can be formed on a thin film of permalloy, iron, nickel, cobalt and copper through an electrolysis with a mixture of ammonium persulfate and nitric acid electrolyte under control of the electrode potential. Particularly, a desired part of an electrode whose surface is in coexistence with aluminum can be electrolytically etched without damaging the aluminum.

摘要： A liquid crystal display cell being capable of display with liquid crystal molecules aligned towards a predetermined direction has its display characteristics made greatly dependent on the properties of an alignment film coming into contact with the molecules of the liquid crystal. A louver having a predetermined angle is disposed between the substrate on which the alignment film is to be formed and an evaporation material source to pass a material evaporated from the evaporation material for deposition onto the substrate. The thus formed film exhibits a very great orientation controlling power of biaxial anisotropy. This forming method of the alignment film also allows the easy formation of the alignment film on a large substrate.

摘要： A high density and electrically insulating sintered body 11 has SiC as its principal component and as an electro-conductive thin layer 17 on a desired surface thereof. To achieve good bonding the electro-conductive thin layer is a metallized layer containing at least one metal selected from Group Ib and VIII metals and their alloys and a binder forming a vitreous matter with a silicon oxide, and is bonded to said sintered body via a fused layer formed between a silicon oxide film formed on the surface of said sintered body 11 and the oxide of said binder. The invention can be applied to a semiconductor device using an electrically insulating silicon carbide sintered body as the substrate.
