    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a throttle body capable of suppressing size of a clearance to about the same size as conventional size by making amount of thermal deformation in a scope from very low temperature to temperature exceeding 100°C of a bore and a throttle valve substantially the same and realizing high performance at low cost.
      SOLUTION: Coefficient of linear expansion in the radial direction is brought close to the bore 4 by setting orientation of filler in resin in the circumferential direction. For this reason, the orientation of the filler 2 is set in the circumferential direction by arranging a groove 17 concentrically. The throttle valve 1 with the filler orientated in the circumferential direction can be obtained by impregnating an aggregate constituted by arranging the filler in the circumferential direction into resin and then heating and hardening it. A rib 28 is arranged near the throttle valve shaft to control the molding contraction, which can make the circularity of the bore 4 small.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the burden of driving a throttle actuator and stabilize a control action of a throttle, by improving characteristics (improvement in spring characteristic of a return spring or the like) of a throttle device having an initial opening setting mechanism. SOLUTION: The throttle device has the initial opening setting mechanism for keeping initial opening of a throttle valve 24 to be larger than a full close position when the current is not applied to a motor 12 of the throttle device. The throttle device has an energizing means 4 energizing the throttle valve to a closing direction in an opening region larger than the position of an initial opening setting stopper, and an energizing means 5 energizing the throttle valve 24 to an opening direction to maintain the initial opening in a vicinity of the full close position. A shaft torque T1 applied to a throttle valve closing direction at the position of the initial opening setting stopper by the energizing means 4, and a shaft torque T2 applied to a throttle valve opening direction by the energizing means 5, satisfy the following expressions: T1≥Mf×Ge+Vf, and T2≤Mf×Ge+Vf (where, Mf is motor static friction torque, Ge is a deceleration rate, and Vf is torque required on the throttle shaft to open the throttle valve).     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an intake control device for an internal combustion engine capable of eliminating the influence of an attached substance even when the substance is attached on a downstream side of a throttle valve so as to achieve smooth movement of the throttle valve, and capable of controlling an intake amount in a low opening range at high accuracy.
      SOLUTION: The throttle valve 5 is rotatably mounted on a body 1 equipped with an intake passage. The throttle valve 5 is provided with a first outer peripheral edge 5a on the side rotating on the upstream side of the throttle body 1 and a second outer peripheral edge 5b on the side rotating on the downstream side of the throttle body 1. The body 1 is provided with a spherical intake passage wall confronting the first outer peripheral edge 5a of the throttle valve 5, and a cylindrical intake passage wall confronting the second outer peripheral edge 5b of the throttle valve 5.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve reduction of a burden for driving a throttle actuator, and stability of throttle control action, by normally rotating a fitting member integrally with a throttle shaft while being mounted on the throttle shaft, in an operational range of more than the initial opening of a throttle valve. SOLUTION: An initial opening setting mechanism is equipped with a sleeve 42 with a lever 2, which is rotatively fitted to one end of a throttle shaft 18 against a shaft. Also, the initial opening setting mechanism is equipped with first energizing means 4 by which the sleeve 42 with the lever 2 is energized in the closing direction of a throttle valve 24, second energizing means 5 by which opening force for retaining an initial opening is applied to the throttle shaft 18, and so on. The sleeve 42 with the lever 2, which is used for driving the throttle shaft 18, is integrally rotated with a sleeve 45 while being mounted on the throttle shaft 18, in most of owning ranges from an initial opening position to a throttle fully owning position. Hereby, friction between the sleeves 42, 45 can be almost eliminated.
