摘要： The present invention provides the process for treating the animal hairs by solubilization wherein the animal hairs can be treated in a short time without any complicated operations and special apparatuses, and the process for recovering the solubilized product of the animal hairs wherein said product can be recovered simply and efficiently from the solution thereof. The former is the process for treating animal hairs by solubilization which comprises solubilizing the animal hairs in a weak alkaline liquid medium in the presence of an oxidizing agent whose concentration is high. The latter is the process for recovering a solubilized product of animal hairs which comprises admixing a solution of said product with an organic acid or an aqueous solution thereof to precipitate said product.

摘要： Animal adhesive cells, particularly human vascular endothelial cells, are cultured in serum-free condition by coating at least one polymer having cell adhesive activity on an inner surface of a culture vessel or surface of a carrier for cell culture, and culturing the cells in the coated vessel or with the coated carrier using a serum-free medium for animal cell culture containing isolated serum albumin, and preferably also transferrin. The polymer is a synthetic polymer modified with a peptide having cell adhesive activity or a natural polymer having cell adhesive activity or a combination thereof. Preferably, the peptide is RGDV, RGDS, RGDN, DGEA or YIGSR and the natural polymer is collagen, gelatin, keratin, fibronectin, vitronectin or laminin. A preferred medium for culturing human vascular endothelial cells is basal medium MCDB 131 or MCDB 107 containing isolated serum albumin, transferrin, hydrocortisone and epithelial growth factor.

摘要： A method of inactivating cytosolic aspartate aminotransferase isozyme comprises addition of a specific inhibitory enzyme.A method for the fractional determination of aspartate aminotransferase isozyme activities, which comprises (a) inactivating the cytosolic aspartate aminotransferase isozyme in a reaction mixture containing the specimen by the addition of a specific inhibitory enzyme, followed by determination of the residual mitochondrial aspartate aminotransferase isozyme activity, and (b) determination of the cytosolic isozyme activity by subtracting the activity of mitochondrial isozyme determined in (a) from the total activity of aspartate aminotransferase isozymes.A cytosolic aspartate aminotransferase isozyme inhibiting composition contains an effective cytosolic aspartate aminotransferase isozyme inhibitory amount of a specific inhibitory enzyme.
