    • A body-fluid inspection device, which sticks a skin so as to obtain a fine amount of body fluids and measures ingredients of the body fluids, includes a casing having an opening, a sticking device having a sticking needle that is allowed to protrude from the opening of the casing, and a suction device which places at least portion of a space inside the casing in a reduced-pressure state. Also included are a reduced-pressure releasing device for releasing the space inside the casing from the reduced-pressure state, a chip which is detachably attached to the opening of the casing and is provided with test paper for absorbing the body fluids that have been sucked by the body-fluid suction device, a measuring device for measuring ingredients of the body fluids that have been absorbed by the test paper, and a display device for displaying results of measurements made by the measuring device. The display device is placed on one portion of a surface of the casing. The sticking, the suction and the measuring devices are installed inside the casing.

    • It is an object of the present invention to provide a component measuring instrument with which a predetermined component in blood can be measured securely and in a short time. The component measuring instrument, which is used by mounting therein a chip having a puncture needle, includes: a specimen sampling portion application portion to which a specimen sampling portion to be punctured is applied; a puncturer for moving the puncture needle; pressure reducer for putting the punctured portion of the specimen sampling portion punctured by the puncture needle, together with a containing space for the puncture needle, into a reduced-pressure condition; measurer for measuring the amount of a predetermined component in the blood sampled from the punctured portion; and a chip retracting mechanism for moving the chip in a direction away from the specimen sampling portion while maintaining the reduced-pressure condition generated by the pressure reducer.

    • Empty trays are transferred from a main conveying line for conveying trays to a feed line branched off from the main conveying line, yarn packages are transferred one after another on the feed line from a doffing machine to the empty trays, and then the trays respectively loaded with the yarn packages are returned sequentially to the main conveying line. Thus, the yarn package conveying system curtails time necessary for transferring yarn packages form the doffing machine to the empty trays, and simplifies yarn package transferring work and the tray conveying machine.
