摘要： The purpose of the present invention is to provide polymerization catalyst which can produce quite efficiently (co)polymer having number average molecular weight and number of molecules which are accurately controlled in producing method of (co)polymer by the polymerization of polar unsaturated compound, and provide living polymerized (co)polymer obtained according to the producing method. For the purpose, polymerization catalyst composition which comprises the composition comprising organic oxysalt compound and hydroxycarbonyl compound having at least both an alcoholic hydroxyl group and a carbonyl group in the same molecule is provided and the polar unsaturated compound is polymerized by using the polymerization catalyst composition. The composition containing the obtained (co)polymer were able to provide thermosetting powder coating composition having particularly excellent characteristics.

摘要： The present invention relates to a thermosetting powder paint comprising, as essential components, (A) a copolymer of particular composition composed of a glycidyl group-containing monomer, styrene and other monomer copolymerizable therewith and, as curing agents capable of reacting with the component (A) to crosslink the component (A), (B) an aliphatic polycarboxylic acid and (C) a linear anhydride of an aliphatic polycarboxylic acid; a coating method using the above thermosetting powder paint; and a coated article obtained by using the above thermosetting powder paint. 摘要： Disclosed is a thermosetting powder coating composition comprising (A) a glycidyl group-containing acrylic resin obtained by (co)polymerizing monomers containing an ethylenically unsaturated monomer having a glycidyl group and/or a β-methylglycidyl group, (B) a polycarboxyl curative, and (C) an alcohol adduct of a styrene/maleic anhydride copolymer. Also disclosed are a cross-linked cured film of the composition and a process for preparing the composition. According to the invention, blending efficiency and dispersibility of the components of a powder coating, particularly those between the resin component and the curative component, are improved without changing a conventional production process of a powder coating, i.e., a process consisting of melt blending, cooling solidification, pulverization and sieving, and thereby a thermosetting powder coating composition, which is capable of forming a cross-linked cured film improved in appearance properties (high gloss, etc.), physical properties (hardness, scratch/mar resistance, etc.), and chemical properties (acid resistance, solvent resistance, etc.), particularly in scratch/mar resistance and/or chemical properties, and having a 60° gloss value of not less than 80, and which is favorably used for coating of automotive bodies and automotive parts, can be provided.
