摘要： An intake control device for an engine includes a throttle body that defines a throttle bore, which is substantially circular-shaped in cross section, through which intake air flows. A throttle valve is rotatably assembled in the throttle bore of the throttle body. The throttle valve rotates integrally with a shaft. One axial end of the shaft is connected to a rotary driver, so that the rotation angle of the throttle valve is changed via the shaft. The rotary driver defines a fitted hole, to which the one axial end of the shaft is clearance fitted. The rotary driver defines a fitting recess dented radially outward from the hole wall surface of the fitted hole. The one axial end of the shaft includes a coupling that is crimped and fixed to the rotary driver in the state of being fitted to the fitted hole.

摘要： An electrically controlled throttle apparatus is constructed with a throttle body and a throttle valve that are simultaneously formed in the same dies. The throttle valve is rotatably assembled in a bore wall part of the throttle body while the throttle valve is rotated by a predetermined rotation angle θ with respect to a rotation angle 0° corresponding to its full close position. Besides, a clearance is formed between the throttle body and the throttle valve around a portion in the vicinity of a throttle shaft of the throttle valve and a shaft hole of the throttle body. Furthermore, a joint is inserted between the throttle shaft and the shaft hole in the forming process thereof. Thus, the throttle body and the throttle valve can be separated by the molding dies and the joint, and the throttle body and the throttle valve can be prevented from welding to each other in a forming process thereof.

A metallic plate is inserted into the undercut groove, so that a motor engaging hole formed in the metallic plate is attached to the throttle body, and a motor engaging hole formed in the metallic plate engages with the motor. A sensor cover is attached to the metallic plate, so that a notch formed in the metallic plate engages with an engaging boss integrally formed in the sensor cover to steadily receive a motor, such that the motor is restricted in the axial direction of the motor and in a direction which is perpendicular to the axial direction of the motor.
