      SOLUTION: This spiral type shellfish-rearing plate is provided by installing a spiral type plate having a down grade slope toward the central part of spiral rotation and also making a part having a radius of an optional distance from the rotation central part as a hollow part in an optional water vessel so as to create the function and environment required for the culturing of the shellfishes.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for and a method of deodorizing and crushing fishery residues upon processing of fishery residues, which comprise performing solid-liquid separation to separate the deodorized and crushed liquid into a solid product and a liquid, and then drying the solid product and producing a deodorant and a liquid fertilizer from the liquid, so that fishery residues are reused. SOLUTION: Fishery residues are acknowledged as pollution because of their fetor. The apparatus and the method are used for producing a deodorant from the processed liquid and deodorizing the fishery residues by the use of the deodorant and then processing the resultants. The apparatus for and the method of processing fishery residues are characterized by mixing the deodorant with the fishery residues, crushing and agitating the mixture to cause fetor to disappear, drying the deodorized solid product using a dryer to reuse the dried product as feeds for fish or fertilizers, producing a deodorant and a liquid fertilizer from the liquid, and thus deodorizing and processing fishery residues.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To level up effective utilization of lees of Shochu (Japanese white distilled liquor) which society requests and widen the range of effective utilization and distribute to reduction of treating cost of lees of Shochu. SOLUTION: The treatment method comprises agitating/kneading lees of Shochu (by using a blade type, a screw type or Brabender type) and carrying out solid-liquid separation of the kneaded material while carrying out vacuum distillation. The treatment method is characterized by distilling the lees at low pressure and low temperature while dividing the process into the following three stages. In the first stage, the lees of Shochu is distilled at low pressure and low temperature without adding anything to the lees of Shochu and a fraction containing BOD including ethanol and ammonia in high concentration is extracted. In the second stage, an acid is added to the lees of Shochu to lower pH to 2 and distilled at low pressure and low temperature and a fraction containing an organic acid such as acetic acid and propionic acid is extracted. In the third stage, an alkali is added to the lees of Shochu to neutralize pH and distilled at low pressure and low temperature and the distillate is extracted as dischargeable water having low BOD. In the present invention, a method for using an extract rich in organic acids and obtained in the second stage as an agent for exterminating red tide organisms, a method for using the extract obtained in the second stage as an acid treatment agent for laver and a method for utilizing the extract obtained in the second stage as a mildewproofing agent for livestock feed are further provided.
