摘要： A method of and an apparatus suitable for use in winding a coil on a toroidal core of a magnetic head of a video tape recorder or magnetic disc player by passing a wire through a minuscule aperture. The apparatus includes an annular wire guide formed with a cutout, a plurality of pairs of feed rollers having axes disposed perpendicular to a plane in which the annular wire guide is disposed, the rollers of each pair engaging each other inside the annular wire guide, and at least one core holding unit for holding a core in such a manner as to be positioned in the cutout of the annular wire guide. By repeatedly performing the operations of feeding a wire by the feed rollers, guiding the movement of the wire by the annular wire guide and inserting the wire through a core window of the toroidal core after transporting the wire to the wire insertion position, it is possible to wind a coil positively with increased speed and reliability.

摘要： The object of the present invention is to provide a compact and inexpensive single-crystal growth apparatus. The single-crystal growth apparatus of the present invention which comprises spheroid mirrors 11, 12, heat sources 13, 14 located at the one foci F1, F2 of the spheroid mirrors 11, 12, a quartz tube 16 enclosing a heating zone 15 of the common focus F0 on the other side, and, in the quartz tube 16, a feed rod 18 supported by an upper crystal drive shaft 17 and a seed crystal rod 20 supported by a lower crystal drive shaft 19. The interfocal distance between the foci F1, F2 and the foci F0 is made 41.4-67.0 mm and the minor axis/major axis ratio of the spheroid mirrors is set to 0.90-0.95. In order to prevent excessive heat rise of the spheroid mirrors 11, 12 and infrared lamps 13, 14 attendant on downsizing of the spheroid mirrors 11, 12, the spheroid mirrors 11, 12 internally include annular water-cooling jackets 39, 40 and air-cooling units 45a, 46a are provided for introducing cooling air from gaps 43, 44 of the spheroid mirrors 11, 12 at a flow rate of 1.2-2.3 m3/min. Further, ease of use is realized by self-circulating cooling water and imputing heat dissipation capacity utilizing a radiator 49.

摘要： An electric remote-controlled rearview mirror assembly for a vehicle includes a mirror pivotally supported by a three point pivot connection of which the center pivot connection is stationary to permit angular movement of the mirror therearound. The remaining two pivot connections are spaced a predetermined angle from each other about the center pivot connection and are connected to rod members which are individually actuatable for longitudinal movement by at least one electric reversible motor to thereby positively angularly adjust the mirror around the center pivot connection. The drive of the motor is transmitted to the rod members through nut members. The rod members is made of an elastic material with providing threads whereas the nut members is made of a rigid material with providing teeth to be meshed with the threads of the rod members.
