摘要： The first aspect of this invention relates to a peak data extracting device used in picture processing devices. The peak data extracting device comprises a DDA (data differential analysis) computing unit, an peak filter and a sorting unit. The computing unit gives Hough curves (sine curves) based on points to be processed on an original picture. The peak filter extracts peak data. The sorting unit sorts the peak data extracted with the noise components removed.The second aspect of this invention relates to a rotary motion recurrence formula computing device which are used in the DDA computing unit. The device computes the rotary motion formulax.sub.i+1 =f.sub.x (x.sub.i, y.sub.i, .epsilon.)y.sub.i+1 =f.sub.y (x.sub.i, y.sub.i, .epsilon.).

The airbag cover 50 includes a tubular outer wall portion 53 having a plurality of engaging holes 57. The tubular outer wall portion 53 is engaged with the case 25 by inserting and engaging the claw portions 37 in the engaging holes 57. The front inner wall 31 and the rear inner wall 32 each include connected portions 66, to each of which a claw portion 37 is connected, and non-connected portions 65, to which no claw portion 37 is connected, along the arrangement direction of the claw portions 37. Two non-connected portions 65 are located on both sides of each connected portion 66. At least one of the non-connected portions 65 has cutout portions 61, 62 that extend from the upper end of the corresponding inner wall to a position lower than the tips 37A of the claw portions 37.

A bottom wall of the rear storage area is located at a lower level than the airbag mounting plane of the front storage area. The airbag is secured to the mounting plane of the case by the periphery of the gas inlet port. A lower folded-up portion that is formed by folding up a lower inflatable portion of the airbag is stored in the rear storage area of the case. The airbag apparatus further includes proximate left and right edges of an opening of the case in the rear storage area means for restraining emergence of the lower folded-up portion of the airbag from the opening of the case in an early stage of airbag deployment by holding down left and right end regions of the lower folded-up portion.

摘要： The airbag apparatus is provided with a retainer that includes a hold-down portion for attachment of a periphery of a gas inlet of an airbag to the case, a cover wall surrounding an inflator body, deflectors and catches. The cover wall includes a plurality of outlet ports for releasing inflation gas exited discharge ports of the inflator body radially. The deflectors deflect the inflation gas exited the outlet ports in a range of angle from a direction orthogonal to an axis of the inflator body to a downward direction extending toward the hold-down portion. The catches capture residual particles contained in the inflation gas when the gas deflected by the deflectors hit them.
