摘要： In a lounger-type massage machine, a back support is reclinable relative to a seat. There is provided a leg rest which is movable between a retracted position where the leg rest is retracted to be held below the seat and a projected position where the leg rest is extended outwardly in front of the seat. A sheet is extended to cover the seat and the leg rest. There is provided a looseness prevention mechanism which pulls an end of the sheet inwardly so as to prevent the loosening of the sheet in both the retracted position and the projected position of the leg rest.

摘要： A massaging chair is capable of assuring comfortable use, both in the sitting and lying positions. The massaging chair comprises a seat, a reclining backrest pivotally connected about a pivot axis to the seat so as to be movable between an upright position and a horizontal position with respect to the seat, and a massager is disposed on the side of the reclining backrest to give a massage to a back of a user resting on said seat. A pair of armrests are disposed on the opposite sides of said seat. The armrests are designed to extend arcuately substantially about the pivot axis of the backrest. With this arrangement, the user's arms on the armrests can be kept at a fixed comfortable angular relationship with respect to his or her body, irrespective of the varying angles of the reclining backrest on which the user rests with varying posture. Thus, the massaging chair assures enjoyment to the user of a massage in a comfortable posture irrespective of the angular position of the reclining backrest relative to the seat.

摘要： A massaging device capable of easily achieving a reclining operation. The massaging device of the present invention includes a base supporting a seat and a backrest rotatable about a pivot axis about a limited angular range. Mounted within the backrest is a massaging mechanism which includes an applicator giving a massaging action to a user. A pair of armrests extend on opposite sides of the seat and the backrest. The massaging device includes a reclining mechanism for selectively holding the backrest at a position about the pivot axis within the angular range and permitting the bracket to rotate about the pivot axis within the angular range. A handle, which is connected to actuate the reclining mechanism for permitting the backrest to rotate, is mounted on a lower surface of one of the armrests at a location upwardly of the seat. With this arrangement, the handle can be within a reach of the user s fingers even the backrest is fully inclined to a leaned position, and therefore could be easily manipulated by the user. Also, since the handle is mounted on the lower surface of the armrest, it is free from being inadvertently actuated when the handle is not intended to be operated.

摘要： A massage machine comprises a drive shaft rotatably driven in forward and reverse directions; a pair of inclined shafts mounted on both ends of the drive shaft so as to have an arbitrary inclination relative to an axial direction of the drive shaft; a pair of left and right massage ball units including massage balls and rotatably connected to outer peripheral surfaces of the pair of inclined shafts, respectively; and switching means for switching an axial rotation position of one inclined shaft of the pair of inclined shafts. The massage ball units each comprise a swing arm having one end rotatably connected to the outer peripheral surface of the inclined shaft; and a support arm connected to the other end of the swing arm and having mounted thereon multiple massage balls at a vertical distance from each other. Thus, according to the massage machine, the distance from the drive shaft to the massage balls is large because of the presence of the swing arms, while the moving range of the massage balls is large because the upper and lower massage balls mounted on each support arm move in the same direction, so that a person to be treated can have great massage feeling.

摘要： In a chair massager, a stretching operation is performed with utilizing airbags which is expanded and shrunk, effectively. In the stretching operation, for example, a shoulder airbag 3b on the shoulder portion 3 is expanded and shrunk in a state that an arm airbag 6a on one armrest 6 is expanded to hold an arm of the user 200. Thereby, the balance of a human body of the user 200 is broken down so that high stretch effect can be obtained.
