摘要： Disclosed is a connector having a terminal which is rendered into an electrically connectable state with a counterpart terminal by engaging with the counterpart terminal; a housing for accommodating the terminal therein; and an arc suppressive member which is provided at such a position as to be electrically connectable to the terminal and rendered into contact with the counterpart terminal when the terminal is being disengaged from the counterpart terminal so as to keep on electrically connecting the terminal and the counterpart terminal. The arc suppressive member has such a construction that an amount of discharged arc when the arc suppressive member is detached from the counterpart terminal is smaller than an amount of discharged arc when the terminal is disengaged from the counterpart terminal. With this arrangement, arc discharge at the disengagement of the terminals is suppressed.

When the seal member holder 16 is completely attached to the female housing 12, the seal member 14 comes in close contact with a front surface of the female housing 12. In this state, a male terminal 20 of a male connector C2 fits into the female terminal 10 so that a projecting portion 25 of the connector C1 comes in close contact with an inner surface of the through hole 14a to make terminals waterproof individually Further, the seal member holder 16 is provided with a double-locking piece 16f in, which pursues the double locking of the female terminal 10 in the female housing 12 at the time of the complete attachment.

摘要： A wire harness capable of forming a short circuit by use of a plurality of electric wires and a joint connector while being slenderized and reduced in weight. The wire harness includes a plurality of circuit modules each forming a short circuit. Each of the circuit modules, includes a plurality of electric wires, and a plurality of external-connection connectors, connected to respective first ends of the electric wires, and a joint connector, connected to respective second ends of the electric wires to short-circuit the electric wires. The electric wires constituting the circuit modules are bundled together so that the joint connector of each of the circuit modules is discretely disposed so as to be located in a vicinity of at least one of the external-connection connectors included in the circuit module, around which electric wires a binding tape is wound.
