摘要： A node device which participates in an overlay network formed by participation of all or part of a plurality of node devices which are connected to each other via a communication device. The node device includes a search information transmission device, a reply information receiving device, a communication load information device, a communication load comparison device, a node selection device and a participation request information transmission device. The search information transmission device transmits search information to search a node device transmitted to an information processing device connected to the communication device. The receiving device receives information replied from the plurality of node devices. The comparison device compares information regarding communication load in each of the communication routes. The selection device selects a node device on the basis of comparison result by the comparison device. The participation request information transmission device transmits the participation request information to the selected node device.

摘要： In a first node in a system having nodes connected to each other as a network, request information including identification information and request number of location information indicating a location in the network of information saving nodes is transmitted to a second node. In the second node, the location information and identification information are saved. At least the location information whose number corresponds to the request number is transmitted to the first node when the number of the saved location information meets the request number. Otherwise, the location information whose number corresponds to the number of the saved location information is transmitted to the first node. The received request information is transferred when the second node itself is not a management node, to a node interposed between the second node and the management node, or to the management node when there is no node therebetween.

A connection mode setting apparatus sets a mode of connection among a distributing device for distributing distribution information and a plurality of receiving devices for receiving the distribution information provided in a tree type distribution system in which the distributing device is positioned at the highest hierarchical level, the plurality of receiving devices form a plurality of hierarchical levels, the devices are connected in a tree shape via communication paths, and the distribution information distributed by the distributing device is sequentially transferred from the receiving device at the high hierarchical level to the receiving device at the lower hierarchical level. And the apparatus includes effective bandwidth information obtaining means for obtaining effective bandwidth information indicative of an effective bandwidth of each of the communication paths attached to the receiving devices so that each of the receiving devices is connected to the receiving device or the distributing device at the higher hierarchical level; effective bandwidth comparing means for comparing the effective bandwidths of the communication paths; and connection mode setting means for setting a mode of connection among the devices on the basis of a result of comparison of the effective bandwidth comparing means.

摘要： A connection state control device is provided that can promptly perform a reproducing operation by smoothly switching channels at each node and reduce the load on the management server in a case where operations are performed so as to sequentially change distribution information to be received at each node in a network system having a tree structure. A node receives content being distributed over a network, and performs an operation of reproducing the received content. When the node is to receive different content being distributed over a different network, the node is connected to the different network. After that, the node receives and reproduces the different content. The node continues to receive the original content but suspends the operation of reproducing the original content after connected to the different network.

摘要： The present invention provides a distribution system in which even in the case where the content distributability varies among content holders, desired content can be promptly and efficiently received by a requester. To index information recorded in a root node or cache node so that it can be referred to from the requester, in addition to content ID and IP address of a content holder, easiness information indicative of easiness of distribution of content from the content holder are added. 摘要： There is provided a network control device capable of surely distributing a content even when a relay function of one of the nodes contained in a network stops, without affecting the process in nodes below the node and while improving the re-liability of the network system itself.When controlling a node contained in a network system including a server and a plurality of nodes constituting a plurality of hierarchies and connected to one another, wherein a content is distributed from the server to the respective nodes, it is checked whether a content relay function in a node located at the uplink with respect to the node in the content distribution has stopped. When the stop of the relay function is detected, control is performed so that the consumption speed of the content accumulated in the lower node in the process executed in the node is smaller than the consumption speed before the relay function has stopped.
