摘要： In a magnetic recording and reproducing apparatus for recording and reproducing information by pulling out a tape from a cassette by revolving a pair of tape pull-out members in opposite directions with a tape loading mechanism and by wrapping the tape around a rotary drum, a tape pull-out aiding member is arranged in combination with one of the tape pull-out members; and a differential mechanism is arranged between the tape pull-out aiding member and the tape pull-out member to cause the two members to revolve at different angles of revolution in such a way as to give a desired angle of inclination of the tape relative to the rotary drum. The differential mechanism is formed jointly by a slide member which is slidable in the direction of revolution, the tape pull-out aiding member being disposed at the slide member, and a positioning member which is arranged to lock the tape pull-out aiding member by restricting its movement in such a way as to cause two members to revolve at the different angles of revolution.

摘要： A rotary head type recording or reproducing apparatus of the type in which the recording or reproduction of signals is effected by tracing a recording medium transported in a predetermined direction with rotary heads in a direction which is at less than 90.degree. with respect to this predetermined direction. The apparatus is provided with a rewinding mode in which the above-mentioned recording medium is transported in a direction reverse to the above-mentioned predetermined direction without performing the recording or reproduction of signals, with the rotary heads being in the condition where they can trace the recording medium. In this rewinding mode, the rotary heads are rotated in a direction reverse to their rotating direction during the recording or reproduction of signals.

摘要： Apparatus for loading and unloading a tape-type recording medium in a recording/reproducing device, such as a VTR. The apparatus has a rotary drum carrying magnetic heads, and a pair of rail members arranged around the rotary drum and each having a first elongated slot formed therein. Tape guides are guided along respective rail members, and a drum base is provided having a drum support portion for supporting the rotary drum. Second elongated slots are formed at the outer side of the drum support portion, the second elongated slots being connected to corresponding first elongated grooves so as to form continuous guide grooves for guiding the tape guides. Interconnectors are provided either on the drum base or on the rail members so as to interconnect the portions which define the elongated slots in the regions of these grooves near their open ends to prevent bending of the slots.

摘要： A recording or reproducing apparatus according to the present invention includes a loading member movable between an unloading position at which a tape is accommodated into a cassette and a loading position at which the tape is pulled out from the cassette and wrapped around a rotary head drum to enable recording or reproduction, a detecting circuit for causing the rotary head drum to start rotating when the loading member is located at a predetermined position between the unloading and loading positions and the tape is wrapped around the rotary head drum by a predetermined angle, and detecting a rotational speed which the rotary head drum reaches within a predetermined time, and a control circuit for driving the loading member to the loading position if it is determined that the rotary head drum is not wet with dew condensation from the rotational speed of the rotary head drum detected by the detecting circuit, and if it is determined that the rotary head drum is wet with dew condensation, driving the loading member to the unloading position.
