    • A file memory stores data corresponding to identifiers of an allocated area in an identifier space. A first memory stores a basis position of the allocated area in the identifier space.     • According to an embodiment of the invention, a computer readable storage medium that stores a software program causing a computer system to perform a scheduling process for executing a plurality of application programs in every processor cycles, the scheduling process includes: allocating, during a current processor cycle, processor times of a next processor cycle to each of the application programs to be executed in the next processor cycle; storing the allocated processor times of the next processor cycle; determining whether or not the application programs executed in the current processor cycle include an uncompletable application program; calculating processor idle time of the next processor cycle; and allocating an additional processor time of the next processor cycle to the uncompletable application program, the additional processor time being set not to exceed the calculated processor idle time of the next processor cycle.

    • In an apparatus for resource management, a resource bidding unit calculates a bid price indicating a virtual price of a resource for each of application programs to consume or supply within a predetermined unit-time, and makes a bidding by inputting the calculated bid price. A bidding management unit allocates a resource per unit-time to each of the application programs based on the bid price input by the resource bidding unit. Moreover, the resource bidding unit determines a state of an application program whether active or inactive, and calculates the bid price to allocate the resource preferentially to an active application program rather than an inactive application program.

    • Provided is a resource management apparatus for determining allocation of a resource to be consumed or supplied by each of a plurality of applications within a predetermined unit time in a bidding process. The resource management apparatus includes a bid value calculating unit configured to calculate a bid value representing a hypothetical price of the resource, a CPU price adjusting unit configured to adjust the bid value supplied by an application, which has a smaller resource consumption amount than another application, to be greater than the bid value of the another application, and a bid managing unit configured to allocate the resource to each of the plurality of applications taking the adjusted bid value into account.
