摘要： A system that allows contents to be viewed suitably and allows channels to be switched promptly in a multi channel IP broadcast via multicast delivery using a broadband network, the system including: a home gateway device connected to a network and capable of receiving a stream, in which a plurality of contents are multiplexed, from the network; and an IP broadcast receiving terminal connected to the home gateway device. The receiving terminal transmits channel information corresponding to a desired content to the home gateway device. The home gateway device extracts, among the multiplexed contents in a received stream, a content corresponding to the channel information from the receiving terminal and supplies the same to the receiving terminal.

A network start requesting device generates a start-requesting WOL packet that includes information on functions to be started after the system is started and sends the WOL packet to a network start device. When the start-requesting WOL packet is received via the network, the network start device recognizes data, which is added to the WOL packet for starting network service functions, and additionally starts the corresponding network service functions.

摘要： The present invention makes it possible to provide a reproduction resource even in an HDD recorder in which a plurality of storage processes is performed and no resource for providing the reproduction service exists. In order for realizing the above advantage, when the shortage of the reproduction resource occurs in a picture recording process, the picture recording process of the HDD recorder to which a content reproduction request is issued is switched to another HDD recorder, thereby providing the resource for content reproduction. Further, the content data stored in a dispersed manner by distributing the picture recording process is managed uniformly by recording the recording locations of the contents, which is divided and recorded, for every content data. Thus, it becomes possible to provide the content to the equipment issuing the reproduction request as a single content.
