    • In each of a plurality of input channels of an audio mixer, there are provided a fader operator for adjusting a tone volume level, and a send level adjustment section for adjusting a send level of an audio signal to be sent from the channel to individual mixing buses. On an operation panel of the mixer, there are provided a plurality of bus selection switches in corresponding relation to the mixing buses. Once any one of the bus selection switches is depressed once, the mixing bus corresponding to the operated bus selection switch is allocated to a selected send level operator. Activation/deactivation of a Sends On Fader (SOF) function may be instructed by a user depressing any one of the bus selection switches twice in succession.

    • Plural part playback channels each play back music performance signals of respectively assigned performance parts selectively in an enhanced mode or in an unenhanced mode. The tone volume of the channels 1, 3-6 in the suppressed manner is set by manipulating the contrast dial CD. Where the enhanced mode is set for plural channels 2 and 6 (between time C and time D), manipulation of an enhanced mode clear switch SC (at time D) causes cancellation of the prominent manner of playback at the channels 2 and 6 as well as the suppressed manner of playback at the channels 1, 3-5.

    • While an AUX-bus selecting operator is being operated beyond a predetermined time period, displays of channel-ON operators, normally indicating ON/OFF states of corresponding input channels, indicate ON/OFF states of signal delivery from the input channels to the AUX bus. Thus, a user can readily confirm, with minimized operation, the ON/OFF states of the signal delivery from the input channels to the second bus. Operating any one of the channel-ON operators in this state can change the ON/OFF state of the signal delivery from the corresponding input channel to the AUX bus. Further, operating the AUX-bus selecting switch while keeping operating the layer operator, current fader settings of the input channels can be copied as delivery levels of signals from the input channels to the AUX bus. Because the delivery levels of sound signals from the input channels to the bus can be set using the fader settings of the input channels as initial values, time and labor necessary for the setting operation can be minimized.
