    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hoisting machine support device for an elevator, in which cost is low, installation work is easy, and adjustment can be performed.
      SOLUTION: The elevator comprises a car 1 and a counterweight 4 movable up and down in a shaft 2, guide rails 5a and 5b for the car 1 and the counter weight 4, a rope 21 to suspend the car 1 and the counter weight 4, a thin hoisting machine 9 in the shaft 2 at a certain distance above the lowest end of the shaft to be disposed roughly in parallel to a wall surface of a plane cross sectional surface of the shaft 2, and an installation frame 11 to support the hoisting machine 9. The installation frame 11 is composed of an upper frame 12, a lower frame 13, and side frames 14 and 15 in a rectangular form. One-side ends of the upper frame 12 and the lower frame 13 are respectively fixed to the guide rail 5a to be movable. The lower frame 13 is fixed to a pit base 18 by tension rods 17a and 17b.

      SOLUTION: This hoisting machine 5 is provided with a brake drum 14 constituted by arranging an electric motor 6, a sheave 8, and a brake 10 linearly and connecting the brake 10 with the electric motor 6, braking arms 16a, 16b having braking pieces 15a, 15b abutted on the brake drum 14 and rotated and supported, braking springs 18a, 18b for pressing the braking pieces 15a, 15b against the brake drum 14, and braking release means 20a, 20b for driving the braking arms 16a, 16b. A substantially L-shaped surface of projection is formed by the electric motor 6 and the braking arms 16a, 16b, the braking release means 20a, 20b are provided in parallel with the electric motor 6 along the direction of extension of the braking arms 16a, 16b, and height of the brake 10 is less than height of the electric motor 6.       SOLUTION: In an existing elevator apparatus, after a lock nut 15 is removed from the suspension rod 10, a spacer 20 having a hole larger than the external dimension of a nut 11 on a bottom surface is inserted from the upper end of the suspension rod 10 and disposed to cover the nut 11. Then, an additional elastic body 21 is disposed in contact with the top surface of the spacer 20. Thereafter, an additional plate 22 is disposed in contact with the top surface of the additional elastic body 21. Next, an additional nut 23 is screwed to the suspension rod 10, and the additional nut 23 is further screwed until the amount of deflection of each of the elastic body 13 and the additional elastic body 21 reaches a prescribed value, to thereby reduce the vibration transmitted from the suspension rod 10 to a support beam 6.

      SOLUTION: In the hoisting machine device for the elevator, a sheave 2 and a brake drum 3 are fitted to a rotation shaft 1a of the hoisting machine 1 and provided at both outer positions of the hoisting machine 1, and the sheave 2 and the brake drum 3 are made into a fin shape in which an arm radially laid from a boss part to a rim part is inclined relative to a rotation axis and performs air-blowing action. The hoisting machine 1 is made of a permanent magnet type electric motor having a rotor comprising a permanent magnet and a stator opposed to the rotor, and is provided with a hood 4 covering the hoisting machine 1 through a predetermined clearance and having both ends opened toward the sheave 2 and the brake drum 3. The blown air generated according to rotation of the sheave 2 and the brake drum 3 is guided by the hood 4 and the blown air is fed to the clearance between the hoisting machine 1 and the hood 4. Thereby, the blown air is prevented from being diffused, the flowing speed of the blown air is enhanced, and enhancement of cooling effect is accomplished.
