摘要： The present invention provides a fluid displacing transmission filler having a blow molded, foam filled body. The body or shell of the filler is blow molded in a mold which shapes it to conform to internal surfaces and other features, such as gears and shafts, of a transmission. Then, the blow molded filler body is filled with closed cell foam. The resulting transmission filler is lightweight, achieves a maximum volume for an available space within a transmission and is essentially impervious to failure and filling with fluid because the closed cell foam does not significantly absorb transmission fluid.

摘要： A plasma display panel is provided. The plasma display panel includes front and rear substrates facing each other to form a discharge space therebetween, a plurality of address electrodes provided in stripes on an upper surface of the rear substrate, a first dielectric layer provided to cover the address electrodes on the upper surface of the rear substrate, and partitions provided on a upper surface of the first dielectric layer to partition the discharge space. On a lower surface of the front substrate are a plurality of second dielectric layers extending in a direction perpendicular to the address electrodes, each of the second dielectric layers protruding from a lower surface of the front substrate, both sides of each of the second dielectric layers being concavely curved, first and second sustaining electrodes provided to be slanted to face each other on both sides of each of the second dielectric layers, and a third dielectric layer provided on a lower surface of the second dielectric layers to cover the first and second sustaining electrodes.

摘要： A plasma discharge method and a plasma display using the same. In the method, a sustain discharge uses a facing surfaces discharge and a surface discharge after an address discharge. The discharges occur in separate discharge areas, and priming particles generated by the discharges are exchanged. Thus, the stability and the efficiency of the sustain discharge increase, and a gap for the address discharge decreases to lower a breakdown voltage.

摘要： Provided is a flat fluorescent lamp that can emit white light composed of color components with enhanced color purity and/or white light having enhanced brightness and enhanced brightness uniformity. The flat fluorescent lamp includes a front substrate and a rear substrate separated from each other and defining a discharge space therebetween, a discharge gas filled in the discharge space and generating a first ultraviolet (UV) light with a wavelength of 260 nm or less by discharge of the discharge gas, at least a pair of electrodes inducing the discharge of the discharge gas, a second phosphor layer disposed on an inner surface of the rear substrate and including a phosphor excited by the first UV light and generating a second UV light having a wavelength of 200 to 400 nm which is longer than the wavelength of the first UV light, and a first phosphor layer disposed on an inner surface of the front substrate and including a phosphor excited by the first UV light and the second UV light and generating a visible light. Provided are also novel UV light-emitting phosphors excited by vacuum UV light and generating UV light.

摘要： A design for a plasma display panel (PDP). The novel PDP has two separate layers of fluorescent material. One layer of fluorescent material can generate long wavelength from VUV rays and the other fluorescent layer can convert either of VUV or long wavelength ultraviolet rays into visible rays. Such a PDP improves the luminance efficiency by more efficiently using the UV and VUV rays generated during plasma discharge.
