    • A polypropylene-based resin film of a resin composition (C) comprising: 40 to 95 wt % of a propylene-based copolymer (A) selected from a propylene random copolymer (i) of propylene with ethylene and/or &agr;-olefin and a propylene-based copolymer (ii) composed of 1 to 30 wt % of a component (a) obtained by copolymerizing propylene, an &agr;-olefin and ethylene in a first step; and 70 to 99 wt % of a component (b) obtained by copolymerizing those in the subsequent step, in which the copolymerization ratio is different from that in the first step; and 5 to 60 wt % of a polypropylene-ethylene and/or &agr;-olefin block copolymer (B) having a CXS of 5.0 wt % or more, wherein the CXS has a content of ethylene and/or the &agr;-olefin of 14 to 35 mol %, and wherein the heat-seal temperature of the film of the (C) is lower by 3° C. or more than those of respective films of the (A) and (B).

    • A propylene block copolymer having a specified composition and consisting of a xylene soluble portion at 20.degree. C. in an amount of 5 wt % or more and a portion excluding the CXS portion, the melting temperature of the CXIS portion measured by a differential scanning caloriemeter being 130 to 155.degree. C., wherein the difference in transparency in terms of haze between prior to and posterior to the 1-hour treatment at 110.degree. C of a 150 .mu.m thick film obtained by forming said copolymer into a film by extrusion is 8% or less.According to the present invention, a block copolymer having a good transparency and improved impact resistance at a low temperature, and further exhibiting less bleeding at high-temperature heat treatment, can be provided.

    • A pedestrian detecting device for a vehicle comprises a far-infrared camera picking up a far-infrared image outside the vehicle, an area-candidate extracting portion extracting an area candidate containing a pedestrian image from the far-infrared image picked up, an environment detecting device detecting an environment outside the vehicle that influences the far-infrared image, a ROM storing a pedestrian model in the far-infrared image in association with the environment outside the vehicle, a pedestrian-model extracting portion extracting a pedestrian model associated with the environment that is detected by the environment detecting device from the ROM, and a pedestrian determining portion determining, for a pedestrian detection, whether or not the area candidate contains the pedestrian image, by comparing the area candidate extracted to the pedestrian model extracted. Accordingly, the detection accuracy of the pedestrian can be improved.
