    • An electric power tool has a device housing with a rear grip extending in the longitudinal direction of the device housing. The device housing has first opposed housing sides and second opposed housing sides. An electric drive motor and its electronic control are arranged in the device housing. A battery pack compartment arranged in the device housing receives a battery pack that has a parallelepipedal shape and extends in a direction of a height axis, width axis and depth axis. The battery pack is arranged such that the width axis and the height axis extend transversely to the longitudinal axis of the device housing. The battery pack has narrow sides extending approximately parallel and at a minimal spacing relative to the first opposed housing sides, respectively. The battery pack has opposed end faces neighboring the second housing sides, respectively.

    • A hand-guided electric device has an electric motor for driving a tool. The electric motor has a motor housing with inlet and outlet for cooling air. A blower wheel is driven by the electric motor and cooling air is conveyed into the motor housing with the blower wheel through the inlet and blown out from the motor housing through the outlet. The device housing has a cooling air inlet chamber and a cooling air outlet chamber. The cooling air enters the inlet chamber through a cooling air inlet port in an exterior housing wall of the device housing and exits from the outlet chamber through a cooling air outlet port in the exterior housing wall. The cooling air inlet and outlet chambers are separated from one another substantially air-tightly by an inner housing wall so that motor housing is the only flow connection between inlet and outlet chambers.

    • A hand-held electric device has a device housing with a battery pack compartment. A battery pack is disposed in the battery pack compartment. The battery pack compartment has guide elements extending in the insertion direction of the battery pack. The battery pack has a battery pack housing and guide sections provided on the battery pack housing that interact with the guide elements. The battery pack has an electric connector head disposed on the battery pack housing. The battery pack compartment has contact elements. In a predetermined insertion position of the battery pack in the battery pack compartment the contact elements electrically contact the connector head. A contact plate is floatingly supported in the battery pack compartment and the contact elements are disposed on the contact plate.

A housing cover closes off the first end face. Battery cells are disposed in the housing. Cell connectors electrically connect the cells with one another.
