    • The present invention regards a joint for use in a riser (1) extending between a floating installation (3) and a subsea installation (2). The joint comprises an inner pipe segment (21) and an outer pipe segments (22), arranged moveable relative each other in an axial direction and connectable to respective riser segments, forming a chamber (23) between them with a radially extending piston (24), dividing the chamber (23) in a first chamber part (25) and a second chamber part (26), wherein on of said chamber parts (25) in an initial position of the joint is adapted to contain a mainly incompressible fluid, this chamber part (25) decreasing in volume as the inner pipe segment (21) is moved relatively out of the outer pipe segment (22). According to the invention the joint is configured with a fluid line connection (30) from said one chamber part (25) to the other chamber part (26), configured such that the relative movement of the pipe segments (21, 22) is controlled by the allowed flow rate of a fluid flowing out of the chamber part (25) through the fluid line connection (30) to the other chamber part (26).

    • A device for intervention of a subsea oil and/or gas well by means of a tool (8) suspended by a cable (9), fed from or withdrawn to a vessel (1) and driven by a drive mechanism (12) located on the vessel. The device comprises a lubricator (5) having a tool housing for the insertion of the tool into the well, and a stuffing box (40) sealing around the cable after the tool is inserted into the well. According to the invention an injector which drives the cable in the well is located on the lubricator, and is controllable independently of the drive mechanism for the cable located on the vessel. The drive mechanism and the injector may be synchronized in a manner, among others, providing that the cable is hanging in a predetermined arc during the intervention, whereby the vessel may be moved from the well. Moreover, the invention relates to a method and a cable used together with the device.

    • Inflow regulation device for a production pipe for production of oil or gas from an oil- and/or gas reservoir (9), where the production pipe comprises a lower drainage pipe with drainage pipe sections (5) with one or more drainage pipe elements (2; 2a, 2b) having opening(s) (3; 3a, 3b) for inflow of oil and/or gas to an inner space (8) of the drainage pipe section.     • A clamping device for a wire or cable (2), the end of which has to be attached in a housing (10) includes two clamping bodies (7, 8) with interacting conical surfaces. One clamping body (7) is arranged for receiving and passing through the cable (2), which has to be secured. The second clamping body (8) is arranged to exert pressure against the first clamping body for frictional securing of the cable. The clamping bodies are arranged in such a manner that when the tension in the cable increases the clamping bodies enclose the cable more tightly. The invention is particularly suitable for tools that have to be lowered into a well by the cable.
